Hi Sarah, First of all, we are very happy to hear you appreciated our family home accommodation so much, thank you very much! Secondly, we are sorry to hear about your less appreciative experience with our beloved neighbors. Their experience was different than how you portrayed the situation (loud music carrying over the canals, drinking with loud behavior on their private property/ terrace, and the list goes on). Needless to say there are always two sides to each story, so let’s leave that as is. To be fair we are always very clear and upfront on the fact that this is a family home, situated in a quiet and small village. So far we have not received complaints about our neighbors from other guests, but we do feel sorry for your lesser experience versus what we strive for as hosts.
