Charming forest house on the Purple Heath

Oehoe 202 is a charming forest cottage with character and modern comforts, located near Landschap De Liereman and the Purperen Heide in Oud-Turnhout. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Surrounding the house is a spacious, fully fenced wooded garden offering plenty of privacy. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at no extra charge. The house features, among other things, a living room with a wood-burning stove, a pellet stove, and air conditioning for both cooling and heating. The open kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a separate freezer, and an espresso machine.

There is strong Wi-Fi and a television. Books and board games are also available. Outside, there are several terraces, a covered porch, and a hammock. During the warmer months, the outdoor shower and outdoor pool with hot and cold water are available. In the winter, these outdoor facilities are not in use; indoors, there is a shower and a herbal bath.

For recreation, amenities include a shuffleboard, checkers and chess sets, a jacks set, a poker mat, books, nature maps, and information on hiking and biking trails. From the house, guests can head out into nature via the dirt road and hiking trails without having to cross any busy traffic first. The surrounding area features hiking trails, small ponds, and dog-off-leash areas. Children are welcome starting at age 12.

Please Note: There is no swimming pool, foosball table, or poker table. Oehoe202 is not located on a campground or vacation park but is a private vacation home in a wooded area near Landschap De Liereman. Barbecues and other open fires outdoors are not permitted due to the property’s location in a wooded area. Leaving cigarette butts and glass in the garden is also not permitted.
Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
