4 bedrooms, sleeps 8. A spacious cottage in a beautiful elevated coastal setting offers a peaceful countryside location, whilst still being just a short drive to the local town of Clifden. This is a perfect property for families and friends to share. It is in located on the famous "Sky Road" drive on Connemara's Wild Atlantic Way, and boasts wonderful views of the Kingstown Bay, the Twelve Bens mountain range and the surrounding countryside. Local amenities, attractions, towns, and villages are all within close reach, so this is a perfect place to base yourself while exploring the Connemara region. It is worth exploring the immediate area, to experience the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and breath-taking seascapes. Visit beautiful Eyrephort Beach, just a short distance away, and see the views of the offshore Islands of Inisturk and Inisturbot. Walk or cycle the Sky Road for elevated views of the Atlantic shoreline or stop off and see the ruins of Clifden castle. Enjoy some fishing along the rugged coastline nearby. Nearby Clifden town has ample shops, bars, and restaurants, and will provide you with everything you might need for your self-catering holiday. Traditional music, song and dance are very popular in many of the local pubs. Further afield, but just a short drive away, you will find Omey Beach, Connemara National Park at Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, and many more well-known areas of unique beauty. The ferry to Inishbofin Island can be found at Cleggan, an ideal day trip. Local activities include kayaking, coasteering, mountain walking, fishing, pony trekking, walking, cycling and much more.

Entry to the property is at the front of the property, into a bright and airy hallway. The living room is to the front of the property and is flooded with natural light. It offers beautiful sea, mountain, and countryside views and is furnished with comfortable furniture, wood burning stove and TV. A lovely room to sit and relax, and take in the outstanding views, no matter what the weather. The combined kitchen and dining room is to the rear of the property and offers countryside and sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes a dishwasher, 6 ring gas cooker with large oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and ample tableware and cookware. The adjoining utility room houses a fridge freezer, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer.
The property has four bedrooms in total, three double bedrooms, and one twin room, sleeping 8 persons in total. Two of the double rooms are to the front of the property and the third double, along with the twin room are to the rear of the property. The front two double bedrooms have sea views. All bedrooms have timber floors and ample storage for guests' belongings. The bathroom is located close to all bedrooms and includes WC, sink, bath, and electric shower over the bath.
Guests can enjoy the spacious outdoor area, which includes outdoor furniture, a perfect place to sit, dine and relax in the fine weather. The cottage centrally heated throughout by an oil heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and wi-fi is included in the rental price. A cot and highchair are available. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are welcome. Parking is available on site for up to four cars. Short breaks are available year-round.
