Great location close to everything wonderful that the Mount Washington Valley has to offer! Clean, comfortable property with everything you need. The host was excellent and responded promptly to messages. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great stay! Although it was short we still got to enjoy the nice weather and take the kayaks out! Caught a once in a lifetime picture of a shooting star while stargazing
This really is a “hidden gem” of a property- everything needed for a family stay. We loved using the kayaks and spending time by the fire at night. Super close to Storyland, Saco River tube rentals, and the scenic Conway train station.
The casita is clean and well kept with plenty of room outside for kids to run around. Loved having access to the canoe. Would absolutely stay here again. Great location close to North Conway, hikes, and the Kancamagus. Very easy to communicate with host.

Overall stay was okay. Although it is advertised as a "waterfront home" we were disappointed that the water was too weedy and mucky for swimming. We had to go elsewhere to swim and spend time on a lake. Perhaps leaving a pass to the Conway town beach or another area might help yournext summer visitors.
Wonderful house in a super location on Pequawket Pond! The house had lots of space - excellent eat-in kitchen, large livingroom, bedrooms and bathrooms, and a great finished basement with pool table, foosball, cozy area to sit, and a washer/dryer. We'd love to go back!house.
Had a fantastic weekend with friends! The house was spotless and so cozy! Very close to all the mountains and the owners were very reachable so any reason!
Absolutely loved it. Want to stay again and maybe see what all 4 seasons are like.We are a family with young kids and we stayed for a ski week and we had a blast. Cranmore is close by (maybe 15-20 mins away) but even closer are Tuckerman's Brewing and Wicked Craft Burgers for amazing brews and food. You're also super close to the shopping. The house itself was cute, clean, and cozy. The kitchen was exceptionally well outfitted with appliances and utensils and dishware. We usually cook a lot and would have had everything we needed but the nearby food was sooo good we never cooked! The beds are comfy and all the windows had great drapery for light customization. Can't wait to come back in the summer so we can check out the pond!
Our group of 2 families, each with 2 young children, had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was very clean and well maintained. We also found it to be well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking around the pond. You are unable to swim right in front of the house due to all of the vegetation growing in the water but we were able to pack up the canoes and go a short distance to a small beach that was perfect for swimming. I would not hesitate booking a stay here again. My only regret is that we could not stay longer!
My family and I go to North Conway every since since my oldest boy was born. We have rented a hotel for the last 18 years until this year. Renting this home made the best memories. Spacious for all of us. The kayaks and paddle boarding were exactly what my teenagers needed!!! The game room in the basement was perfect for late night competitions. Thank you for any wonderful time. We hope to see you again next year.
The house was very clean and had many updates including the bathrooms. The lake was nice and we caught a few big bass. It was super easy to contact the owner threw email and he got right back with any questions we had. I wish the game room was a little more nicer. It had many items to use- pool table, the wii and darts. However, they were did not work great and were rough. We did enjoy our stay.
Overall the home is well suited for our needs. The baths have been nicely updated and included amenities of a hotel, which came in handy as my nieces failed to pack a bar of soap. A quiet home close to amenities and offered plenty of indoor activities for the kids during the rainy days. We were slightly annoyed that the fire fee was not disclosed to us during the booking process but later stated in our welcome email a day before check-in. It’s a very small fee for permit but surprises are rarely welcomed when traveling with 3 teen girls.
Overall, the home made vacationing with 3 teenagers easy.
We enjoyed our stay at the lake house on Peqauwket Pond. The house is very roomy and comfortable, and the owners have given a lot of time and attention to renovations and design. The basement was awesome – our Tweens loved it and family game night was a thing on many of the nights we were there. The beds were fine but could have used at least one more pillow per bed. Our family loved the big level yard for Frisbee and baseball. Bathrooms are brand new and the kitchen is well appointed. The kayaks and canoe (and life jackets) to get around the lake made for spectacular mornings and sunsets. However, if you are looking for a place where you can run off the dock and jump to go swimming, the end of the lake is really weedy because it's so shallow. During our mid-August visit, weeds stuck out of the water and extended for 30-40 yards into the lake. We paddled through them on the canoe/kayak to the unweedy part of the lake to find nice places to swim. The water was cool and refreshing – just took a bit of work to get there. Lastly, we had no problem contacting the owners and they were very responsive. All in all, it was a great stay.
The family had a wonderful time at the house and on the pond. We had a lot of rain during our stay but the amenities in the game room got used often during those time. Our youngest spent the entire time on the swing when she wasn't kayaking and the scenery inspired our oldest to spend her days writing.
We absolutely love it here!
I took my 13-year-old daughter and her best friends here with one of my friends for a weekend getaway. We absolutely loved the home, the setting, and the amenities. The girls LIVED in the game room where the weekend was rainy and we even enjoyed a short kayak ride on a rainy day. We only went for a weekend but would absolutely book again for a longer stay next time. It was perfect! Nathaniel was an excellent host and super responsive. No complaints! I think I might've forgotten to cover the grill when I left, if so I apologize for that, it was hectic trying to make sure the kids hadn't forgotten everything and I'm just realizing I may have done so as I type this. Thanks for letting us stay!
We stayed for a few days with our son and a couple of his friends so they could ski. The house had everything we needed, the basement was key for the boys to hang out in a separate space - with pool table, separate tv, etc.. We enjoyed the Tuckerman's brewery just down the street. Can see how this house would be a gem in the summertime!
Nice location next lakes and skiing. Checking in was easy and owner was helpful. House is on a lake and is in a neighborhood. There is a good brewery/restaurant in easy walking distance.
My family had a wonderful stay over the holidays. House was perfect. It had everything we needed - location was great, kids loved the basement, views of the lake are beautiful and I would highly recommend.
Nathaniel was very responsive and helpful to our needs and question, a very attentive host. The house was perfect for our needs, 2 couples who wanted a lakefront vacation in an area that offered other activities.!
Had a wonderful time with my 3 small boys. The lake has interesting places to canoe and kayak to explore and fish. The only downside is the dock is in shallow weedy area and isn’t great for swimming but other than that It’s great. The house was nice clean and the area in the basement was fun for the kids. Nice big yard with fire pit was fun to enjoy. Overall great place to vacation.
I booked this house to get my family away for a mini-vacation and to ski at King Pine! I knew we wouldn't be going out after skiing - both because it's COVID times and because we are exhausted after skiing so I looked for a place that had something to do at the house! This house has the best game room in the basement! My youngest son who is 15 years old and has Down syndrome was in heaven! It ended up being just me and my two boys as my husband was unable to make the trip! We had what I like to call "forced family fun" which turned into a blast! Played pool, fooseball, electronic darts, and wii "just dance"! Had a TV in the game room so my boys could watch sports or we could listen to music while playing!
The house was very clean and comfortable! We just loved it and felt right at home! My youngest said, I'm really going to miss this place; can we come back next year! Thanks for sharing your house with us!

About the host
Hosted by Nathaniel R.
Your hosts; Nathaniel, Betty, Oliver and Ana Lucia, purchased this home in 2016 as a getaway to relax and to play. We have done a number of upgrades to the property and a year after buying it we decided to make it available for others to enjoy. We live in the Boston area and our kids get excited regardless of the time of year when we tell them that we're going to the 'Casita del Lago'. We have enjoyed all four seasons now and each season has its own secrets to share.
Why they chose this property
Everything we have done to the property we have done for ourselves and our guests. Its stunning views from the shore and from the pond never get old. Paddle upstream and you'll find swampy passages before connecting to a smaller river. Paddle downstream and the flow is wider and seems to not end. Of course you can stay and play on the main part of the pond as well! Swimming and fishing and so much more! We love how close we are to everything. Village amenities all around from the corner store, shops and restaurants to the Ham Ice Arena and Tuckerman's Brewery (both walking distance!). Within 15 minutes you can be well into the White Mountain National Park on the Kancamangus Highway, Cathedral Ledge or at Diana's Bath. North Conway and Cranmore are also 15 minutes or less. King Pine, Attitash and more are close by. Family Land is less than 30 minutes away! We love it here and we're sure that you will too! Relax your entire stay at the property or get out and explore!
What makes this property unique
The views are the icing on the cake! Enjoy everything that the area has to offer and cap it off with a fire while you enjoy the sunset! Everything about the area is unique and you will want to come back!
