our stay in the cotswolds

We enjoyed our stay at Vine cottage because of the location for visiting ldifferent areas of the cotswolds, however if we had known of the close proximity to the Indian restaurant and the fact it was so hot and had to have all the windows open we probably wouldn't have booked that particular property.

Great location for seeing local villagers

A fantastic few days away celebrating two birthdays with special friends great place needs a little love and attention in some places. Location fantastic for visiting all local beauty spots and villages will definitely come back again.

Happy family Cotswolds stay

Fantastic location for a family plus dog stay in Chipping Norton. Cottage was lovely with the hot tub & welcome goodies an added bonus. Perfect location for dog walks & nearby attractions Bourton On the Water & Diddly Squat. Would highly recommend

A beautiful home from home

We had a great stay in Vine Cottage. Not only is it in a great location with lots of bars and places to eat nearby, but the cottage itself is beautiful with everything you could need.

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage location very close to town so everything walkable. Everything very clean and well looked after, the beds are extremely comfortable.

Weekend getaway

Comfortable great place to stay

Having enjoyed the cotswolds for a brief holiday, vine cottage was an excellent choice. It is roomy, comofrtable, and clean. Very much recommendable.

Chipping Norton weekend

Lovely weekend, cottage had everything we needed. Bedroom's very comfy, nice and warm and cosy, kitchen very well stocked, welcom pack was a nice touch, good location to explore the area, hot tub a bonus

Cosy Cotswold Stay

Vine Cottage was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to the Cotswolds. Excellent location close to brilliant walks, lovely pubs and local attractions like Diddly Squat Farm. The cottage was superbly equipped, very clean and the addition of a hot tub was a great feature. Already planning to come back!

Few days away with our dog.

Had a lovely few days away. Vine cottage is ideal, clean and well equipped. Secure garden for the dog. Lots of other nice villages to visit near by.

Charming and ideally located!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage for our 3 day trip to the Cotswolds. Centrally located to restaurants, pubs, and a grocery store, it was also a quick hop to all things Clarksons Farm. Very clean with some grocery staples stocked and a welcome basket of goodies. Host goes above and beyond to make sure all needs are met.

Vine cottage

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful cottage for the week. A true home from home with everything provided. The cottage was in a good location for day trips to surrounding places of interest and would highly recommend this and would return to stay again ourselves.

Wonderful cottage

We had a fantastic stay in vine cottage They have thought of absolutely everything you could need and more! Phone charging stations and fans in bedrooms such a great idea ! Very well equipped kitchen & lovely welcome bread,butter, milk & eggs! Excellent location for day trips out Will definitely stay there again We loved it!

Wonderful stylish cottage in excellent location

What a super cottage. Very clean and equipped to a very high standard. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the hot tub. We also appreciated the welcome goodies. Very quiet despite being in the town. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home

The house in Chipping Norton was absolutely beautiful, all our needs were catered for, the welcome basket was a lovely touch.Everything was spotless, clean and tidy, the decor was perfect, we could not have wished for a better home to stay in. It was a perfect location for seeing the Cotswolds we would definitely stay again

Lovely cottage in heart of town

The cottage was great. Hot tub a big plus and was ready on our arrival. Kitchen well equipped and modern. Big comfortable lounge for relaxing in. Right in the heart of chipping norton but away from the High Street so was very private and peaceful.

A Wonderful Cotswold Stay

If you are thinking of booking, you won’t be disappointed! Vine cottage was the perfect home to relax in after a day of exploring! The cottage is nestled away in the centre of town, but still manages to feel cosy and quiet, with easy private parking (always a bonus!). The photos don’t do justice to how nice the cottage is inside, with everything you need and more, the thoughtful touches around the home for both us and our dog, made our stay feel really special. Truly a quietly situated cottage in the midst a a quaint little town

You know when you've picked a good one, don't you! When you first enter and think YESS! If you need a short break in the middle of plenty of places to explore, close to all conveniences. Next time I come I won't bring any shopping, just turn up, relax and breathe. Lovely town, pubs, shops, plenty of National Trust nearby, cosy interior and exterior. We went in October, hot tub, log burner, lovely slouchy couch, everything you need. Don't read any more reviews. Just book!

Beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed every minute. It was very cosy. We were lucky the weather was sunshine and blue sky for a few days. The bed was so comfortable, the house so warm and hospitable, but we were just a bit disappointed about the hot tub which needed to be updated - it was not powerful enough to massage. Thank you for letting us stay, we will come back again soon thank you.

Superb for families

The house is very well located next to shops and great cafes, and the dedicated parking spot makes life easy. On entering it was clear that the hosts are thoughtful, with enough supplies provided for anyone arriving late at night to have what they need, whether it’s a glass of wine that night or bread and tea in the morning. The garden was a lovely enclosed private space and our kids just loved the hot tub. The rooms are well appointed and the house overall feels fresh and well maintained on entry. There’s good instructions for everything, the WiFi and internet is more than adequate for 4 people and multiple devices, and overall it was a very comfortable space for taking downtime and rest in between exploring the area. Chipping Norton was a great base overall too, and we enjoyed trips to Bourton-on-the-Water and other villages, as well as the proximity of Daylesford and other organic farm shops. Would recommend this stay to anyone, from families to small groups or romantic getaways.

Perfect stay

We arrived during a cold spell of weather, -5 degrees, to open the door into a beautifully warm, clean, spacious and modern cottage with a log burner which we lit almost immediately. The cottage had all the essentials we could need and the icing on the cake was the hot tub, which we used. Getting out of it was the worst bit!! We spent our (not enough) days driving around the local area and finding some lovely walks. Will definitely be back.

Really nice stay

We very much enjoyed our time at vine cottage. The location is excellent and very quiet considering the proximity to the town. Very private also. There is an Indian restaurant very close by so the cooking smells sometimes were a little strong so we had to shut the doors but it's certainly not offensive and we would stay again. We had an issue with the hot tub during our stay but property management were very quick in helping us get it sorted to use although not fixed as this would take a few days to source and we only had a few nights.
