Very well converted cottage to a high standard. was an excellent base for Assessing 2 silver DofE Expeditions on the Moors. Very friendly and helpful hosts with even friendlier dog!

Fairly newly converted farm outbuilding, beautifully appointed by Nigel and Julie - lovely hosts.

Fairly newly converted farm outbuilding, beautifully appointed by Nigel and Julie - lovely hosts. In a small village with a pub, but which doesn't open every day and doesn't do food at most times. Reasonably located between Thirsk and the coast. Nigel and Julie (and, of course, the cottage itself) were very welcoming.

Renovated and decorated to a very high standard.

Renovated and decorated to a very high standard. Large comfy bed. Large shower area with lovely fluffy towels. A welcome tray with lots of goodies. Quiet village with a friendly pub. Nice walks, especially to Levisham train station. Though a bit steep in parts, was well worth it as the steam train had stopped to pick up passengers. A short drive to Pickering for supermarket/restaurants.

very clean and well equipped accommodation in a quiet location welcome pack was much appreciated and hosts were on hand when we arrived to explain how things worked(oven,underfloor heating etc)Would recommend One pub in the village which wasn’t doing food during our stay
