Beautiful country setting allowing for relaxation

We loved the charm of the exterior of the property and the comfortable side sun/garden room. Bedrooms were cozy and full kitchen was a bonus. Knowles Road and the Town of Chard were both very charming.

A welcoming and cosy countryside retreat.

I found the host extremely helpful as I needed to change my arrangements last minute. The cottage was cosy and welcoming and the breakfast provided very welcome.

Excellent peaceful rural retreat.

Manor Farm was ideally situated for our overnight stop on our way from Cheshire to Weymouth. It was really homely and cosy, with plenty of space for the six of us. We really appreciated Claire's thoughtfulness in providing bread, milk, eggs, etc.

Manor Farm is the perfect, peaceful overnight stop.

Manor Farm is in the ideal position for us, situated as it is on a quiet, rural lane, but only 20 minutes from the M5, with just a further hour or so to Weymouth. Beds are super-comfy, and the house was warm and welcoming on our arrival on a chilly evening. Facilities are very good, though you'd better learn to whistle, as there are no locks on bathroom doors. A minor gripe, though, and we'll certainly be back.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need

Very clear instructions on location and what to do on arrival. We had essentials like milk waiting for us. The host was contactable if we needed. The cottage was clean and cosy.

House described as 3 bathrooms , only one and a downstairs toilet . Good for an overnight stay for 7 of us Problem with check in but sorted fairly quickly

Bathroom could have been cleaner, some stains down the toilet and dust on sink. The shower head was only half attached to the wall and looked like it should be replaced. Felt it was a bit much asking to strip the beds and empty bins on check out.

A beautiful home with loads of character.

A lovely relaxing home from home with all we needed and a nice welcome pack with real milk. The George at Donyat is not to be missed if you want a great meal in a warm atmosphere.
