A quaint apartment that had everything we needed to stay for a few nights. Walking distance to many shops and cafes, and a short drive to Sintra. We appreciated the washing machine.

Comfortable beds in a very quiet building. This old place would have its charm if it weren’t so run down and neglected: a bad odour permeates the place, an annoying flickering light in the kitchen (host Daniel promised to fix but never showed up), a sofa seat slit open, half the lightbulbs missing or burnt out, and worst of all ants all over the kitchen. We tried to negotiate an early departure to no avail (the language barrier did not help, caused misunderstandings). On Sept 19, 2025, VRBO told us the owner faced possible temporary suspension of his listing.
