Welcome to my place! - An industrial style, highly furnished flat in the centre of Dalston (Hackney), East London. It's within a beautiful gated development (with parking), originally a factory from the 1800s. The flat has been carefully styled to keep the industrial vibe. Great for couples or solo's. It's a smart home, with lots of gadgets, perfect for chilling, watching and listening.

After many years as an Airbnb Superhost I am trying Vrbo for the first time. Search jacksplacedalston on google for reviews and peace of mind, though you will only be able to book here on Vrbo. My place was fully booked until the end of the year but after a last minute cancelation I have some availability in the coming months.

- This is usually my home so you will find personal possessions in the flat, but there is plenty of empty storage in the bedroom for your belongings. All items in the kitchen including a comprehensive spice rack and any other food items you may find are free to use as you wish. These are either left by myself or previous guests and I do not like to throw food away if it is still in date. Likewise in the bathroom you are free to use any products you find. Please help yourself!

Great spot

Down for London for the weekend and used Jack's place to stay, great spot, brilliantly equipped and a pleasure all round. Jack was incredibly helpful and responsive. If we come back down would definitely stay again.

Beautiful flat in great location

We had a wonderful weekend in Jack’s place. The flat is lovely and in a wonderful location with lots of great food and coffee within walking distance. It’s also very close to the overground which is great for getting around London. Jack was very communicative and the check in process etc was clear and easy. Would highly recommend!

A weekend in Dalston

Jack went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. My wife was somewhat sceptical after our youngest son advised us not to stay in Dalston. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality and location of Jack’s place. In particular, it was nice to have safe off road parking, a pleasant homely atmosphere and two very peaceful and quiet nights.

Amazing Winter Stay

We chose to stay at Jack's place over the winter because it looked comfortable and stylish. It was really accessible via the TfL which gave us such good flexibility. The place was really great and had everything you would've wanted. Jack also had a fabulous kitchen that we took advantage of and we're so grateful for it. His Alexa Echo was so convenient with setting alarms, turning on the lights and adjusting the temperature as required. The check in/check out was also quite easy to amend and sort out. Jack really made sure that we were comfortable and assisted us wherever required.

Amazing flat, great location

This flat is one of the only short term rentals I’ve stayed in that didn’t feel sterile and uncomfortable. The bed and couch are super duper comfortable and there’s a tv in each room to enjoy it with. Also a ton of tech and a great sound system. I had a lot of questions (some of them silly) but Jack always replied promptly! As mentioned in the description, there’s a primary school next door but it’s hardly disruptive as they only have two short breaks in the mornings. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

What a wonderful place!

I stayed at Jack’s flat in London for a 4-week trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The flat is exactly as shown in the pictures—cozy, lovely, and situated in a quiet, gated community. The peaceful environment was a plus, as we didn’t hear any street noise during our stay. The flat was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for our extended stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The Philips Hue lights were a great bonus, adding a touch of fun with mood lighting options. The location is superb. It is Just a few minutes for the train station and bus stop. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It is two minutes walk to an outdoor fresh market Jack was an exceptional host—very professional and quick to respond to all of my questions and requests. We truly enjoyed our time here and had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Jack’s flat for anyone visiting London!

I have always been curious about the east end of London having only superficially visited before and I decided to stay in Shoreditch and I get a feel . As it turns out I assumed that jacks place was more or less in Shoreditch but it’s in fact further up . Ironically this allowed me to really explore a much wider area and was amazed at the breath of cultural food and shops and generally the new heart of a culturally diverse London : I use lime bikes so this made movement fun and practical . The apartment is in a very discreet modernised conversion that you do not anticipate as you approach ! Totally modern with an industrial touch everything works and more . There is a nursery school right adjacent so it can be noisy when the kids are let out but unless it’s important to have silence all day and you plan to write your memoirs locked up it’s not a deal breaker at all and in fact evenings as a result are silent .

Why they chose this property

I bought my place in Dalston (Hackney, East London) 8 years ago and crafted it into my dream pad, and whenever I'm away I like to let others enjoy it too! Having lived all over London, for me Hackney is by far the best area. You'll find quirky eats, hip cafe's and some of the best music venues London has to offer, as well as being easy to get in and out of the centre.

What makes this property unique

It's within a beautiful gated development (with parking), originally a factory from the 1800s. The flat has been carefully styled to keep the industrial vibe, moulded around the exposed brick, wooden floors and factory relics.
