Cleanliness not great

Unfortunately on arrival, bins outside where over flowing, quick look around the house was tidy but the cleanliness was not up to standard. Left over takeaway containers and McDonald’s wrappers left in the fridge from previous occupants. All towels in bathroom had been folded and put away however every towel was damp with a strong smell of urine. I messaged the home owner who was apologetic and looked into it. Apparently the cleaner had been but she agreed to have them come out the next day to clean to ‘our standards’ which never did happen. We were only there for the weekend and wasn’t in the home much for it to be a massive issue but I think these are just the basics of cleanliness you would expect anywhere which unfortunately this place did not have. Hopefully this was just a one off but if I would recommend bringing own towel.
