The property is up a track. The angle of the parking area and steepness of the track makes parking quite challenging. Whilst the property is pet friendly. My small dog escaped, the garden and decking are not secure for any size dog. The only paper work for house instructions related to waste and recycling. However there were no recycling bins available, having enquired with the only neighbour, the recycling bins blew away some time ago and have not been replaced so all waste and recycling went in a black plastic bag in one bin. It’s a beautifully positioned house for views but not in walking distance of pubs, shops or the beach unless you are prepared to walk along a busy road with no footpaths. I wanted to walk to the beach with my grandson but turned back as I felt it wasn’t safe. Some aspects of the house need some attention. The fan in the bathroom of the 2nd bedroom doesn’t work, the handles of the cabinets of both bathrooms have corroded, the inside of the door on the microwave is burnt and damaged, is it safe to use? I was very much looking forward to this trip but came away disappointed. Thank goodness for the Talyllyn Railway which is very close by and a super day out.
