Lovely short stay

Me and my partner attended a stay at York for the Christmas Market and stayed in this property which was quirky and different to most accommodation stays. It had a homely and authentic feel which York being a cultural and historic town, with a lovely layout and peaceful stay. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Great stay but .......

Our stay was great and it is right in the center of the town. But unfortunately we had no hot water even after waiting for half an our like they suggested in the instructions.. And alot of cobwebs everywhere

The Booksellers mini break

The Booksellers is a quaint property in an excellent location in the heart of York, perfect for a mini break with the family. Unfortunately we experienced a couple of issues, one was no signal on the TV, so no freeview. The other was a major plumbing issue which meant we had to vacate the property after one night. Stays were quick to resolve the issue by offering alternative accommodation which was fabulous, it was just a shame that there was no 3 bed available so our family were split across 2 individual apartments rather than being able to stay together for the remainder of our holiday and did cause disruption moving our things and wasting precious holiday time.
