Country Home Retreat in Central Nebraska

Our home provides country living on a paved highway with easy access to Grand Island or I-80. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, eat-in kitchen and laundry room. Our home is located on 2 acres with a large yard and asphalt parking area that can accommodate trailers and RV's. It is only a half mile from Husker Harvest Days, 3.5 miles from Heartland Shooting Park, 10 miles from Crane Trust Visitor Center and 12 miles from the Nebraska State Fairgrounds.

Our Son and Daughter-in-law took us to Nebraska to see the Sandhill Crane migration. This house was perfectly located to visit the Crane viewing sites yet far from any traffic noise. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We think the house was recently remodeled as everything looked new. The beds were very comfortable.I would recommend this house to anyone visiting to see the Crane migration.

Great place to stay in Grand Island!

This home was the perfect location to stay if you have events at the Heartland Shooting Park. My son was competing in the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships there, and it was nice to be so close with early morning shoot times. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. The property worked well for the family and dogs. It was easy to get into. They had it well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, towels and washcloths etc. There was plenty of parking. Lots of seating in the living room.

Perfect location!

We have been fortunate to rent this house for the annual Husker Harvest Days. This works great for our group and makes the show less stressful. Everything in the house is in good working order and clean. Enjoyed using the grill for dinners. Thanks!

Everything went very well. The tv Didn’t have local stations but we weren’t here to watch tv anyway. Owners were very quick to respond. House was equipped with most anything we could want!! Great showers too!! Highly recommend it!!

Sand Hill Cranes

Six of us came to see the migration of the Sand Hill cranes. This property was a perfect location for that as it was near the Crane Trust and the Rowe Sanctuary. The house was well stocked with various supplies. Easy to find. Check in was easy. One of our group needed a blow dryer and we asked the owners if there was one available and he had one for us in minutes. I would stay here again.
