The 1600 square foot villa consists of two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a smaller third bedroom with a guest bathroom. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and has air conditioning, updated lighting and plenty of space to store belongings. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine and blender. The spacious air conditioned living room has comfortable seating for six around a flat screen T.V. with android services (500 channels in various languages, movies and sports). The Villa is equipped with Fiber-optic WiFi services for all your online needs. You will also find a few puzzles and games for your enjoyment. Large ceiling to floor sliding doors leading to the porch can be opened entirely for a cool, refreshing breeze or the doors can be closed and the A/C turned on. Outdoor living is at its best on the large covered porch that wraps around two sides of the villa. Enjoy meals around the large table that seats six or sit around the conversation table sipping on your favorite drink. Two lounge chairs are ideal for relaxing with a book after a long day at the beach. Outdoor LED lights along the railings provide enhanced lighting for the evening and outdoor ceiling fans are available if necessary. For guest convenience, the villa has a BBQ, a washing machine, some snorkel gear and a few beach toys. Beach towels (1/person), bath towels (2/person), dish towels and linens are provided during your stay. The Villa is equipped with a safe for renter's use. Additional arrangements can be made if a baby crib is needed for a fee of $20US.

Villa Sol is centrally located in the village. The large and refreshing swimming pool is a one minute walk away and has lounge chairs and shade palapas for guest use. The gorgeous, sandy beach is a short stroll away. Guests will receive complimentary beach passes that allow free entrance to the beach and use of beach chairs. A beach bar, a beach restaurant, a pizza and coffee/ice cream truck are available when you need to quench your thirst or grab a bite to eat. Snorkel from shore to the two reefs to see a variety of sea life or visit the dive shop for an introductory lesson. If above water activities are your thing, rent a stand up paddleboard right from our beach! Other beach amenities include a dive shop, massages and showers. If you have a larger group that you need to accommodate, please let us know and we can offer assistance.

Our on-site manager will welcome you to our villa. She will give you a quick orientation to the villa and resort. She will be available to assist with any issues during your stay and provide any information you may require. We are always accessible for questions or concerns.

Blue Bay Resort is close to 2 full service grocery stores with all the products you will need, minutes away from downtown Willemstad and a short drive to many beautiful west coast beaches.

A rental car is useful and we are happy to assist with recommendations either at the Hato Airport or through rental companies just off airport.

Available to our guests is our information book with suggestions on sights to see, things to do, restaurants to visit in Curacao during your stay as well as information about the villa. Curacao is known to have some of the safest and freshest drinking water in the world. It is safe to drink directly from the tap! Utilities: Electricity is 110-130 volts / 50 cycles with both North American and European plugs available. We are committed to the responsible use of environmental resources so we encourage mindful use of electricity and water. Guests are responsible for electricity and water costs for their stay. Excessive use of water or air conditioners (such as running them 24/7 or leaving doors open while running), will cause an increase in your utilities bill. The billing process is transparent and easy, our manager will write down the reading of the electric and water meter when you arrive, and the reading when you leave, and you will pay for the amount that you used, payable from your $250 USD security deposit that you leave with the manager upon arrival. The villa is equipped with newer energy saving appliances, fans and AC units to keep costs at a minimum. If you decide to use the BBQ, please ensure that the grill, the bottom and the metal grease tray are cleaned after use as it will attract ants if left dirty. There will be a $50 USD cleaning fee that will be removed from security deposit if you choose not to clean the BBQ. A mid-stay clean, which includes towel and linen exchange, is arranged directly with the manager at an additional cost of $100 USD. This is mandatory for stays longer than a week. Money: The Local currency is the Caribbean Guilder (XCG) abbreviated to Cg. It is pegged to the US Dollar at a stable rate of US$ 1 = XCG 1.79. Curacao lies in a tropical climate zone just 12° north of the equator with temperatures averaging about 27°C (81°F) and with noon temperatures generally over 30°C (86°F). Cooling trade winds blow regularly across the island. Curacao has over 340 sunny days a year and is outside of the hurricane belt.
