Great place for family with three kids. Only downside is no washer and dryer for clothes. This was our first time using a VRBO and the owners made everything smooth for us with no problem accessing the property. One critique of VRBO is that the pricing is similar to a hotel but the owners expected us to wash dishes, pull off bedding from beds, make sure steps are taken so the pipes didn’t freeze, take out garbage and more. This might be the norm for all VRBO but we were charged a large cleaning fee and I think these requests are the responsibility of the owner. If this was a place being offered for free by a friend or colleague, I would have my family scrubbing the property clean but this should not be the case for a fairly expensive hotel alternative that also charges a cleaning fee on top of the rental fee. Just my two-cents. All in all, a clean place that was a two minute drive to the eagle lodge at Mammoth.
