Perfect spot

Close to the tube and the heart of London. Flat had everything we needed, and the convenience of a cafe next doors, and a laundromat and a convenience store just a few steps away. Shower was very tiny and sofa bed was not too bad.

Wonderful

The location was perfect for walking around London to many of the famous sites. Conveniently close to the Underground. My family and I enjoyed the home immensely!

The flat is in a great part of town for public transportation, etc. (I was in town for work not pleasure). Management was attentive on the app and move in/out was easy with the lockbox around the corner! Bed was very comfy. Lots of hot water. Decent towels. The apartment does need quite a bit of work though. The kitchen can fit one person at a time (the bathroom is bigger lol), so as long as you just need to make coffee and a quick breakfast you will be fine. It said in the listing there was a washing machine - there is not. There is a laundromat at the corner. In case that is something that you would need. Def served it's purpose though and again, management was great.

A delightful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed every day in the splendid city of London

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment! It was located in a safe, pleasant neighborhood, and its proximity to the famous Westminster area made it a fantastic base for exploring London’s historic landmarks and cultural attractions. The check-in process was smooth, with clear instructions provided ahead of time, and the damage deposit was refunded promptly without any issues. The bed was cozy, and the living area had a warm, homely feel. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for working from home. The location was excellent, with shops nearby and many interesting places within walking distance, including Westminster. The building and the neighborhood were very nice, with mostly local residents, which added to the authentic London experience. The host was extremely attentive, staying in contact throughout our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly.

Great apartment

The apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious, offering all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The combination of a prime location and comfortable apartment

We had a good stay at this apartment and would recommend it to anyone visiting London. The location was excellent—situated in a safe and pleasant neighborhood, just a short distance from Westminster and its iconic landmarks. The area was peaceful, with a nice mix of local residents. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect both for work. Plenty of towels and cleaning products were provided, adding to the convenience. The check-in process was smooth, with clear instructions sent in advance. While the check-in details were quite thorough, they covered everything necessary, so we had no issues upon arrival. The damage deposit was refunded promptly after our stay, which was a great plus. Communication with the host was seamless. They were quick to respond to any inquiries and provided excellent support throughout our stay. We even shared some feedback with them, and they were very receptive and proactive in addressing it.

Frustrating and Suspicious Experience – Avoid This PropertyI booked this property with high hopes, but the experience was deeply frustrating and ultimately felt suspicious. From the outset, communication was confusing and inconsistent. The host repeatedly requested ID and a damage deposit via a check-in form, but the links provided were either missing, broken, or blocked by VRBO’s system. Despite multiple attempts, I was never able to access a valid payment link.I asked several times for a phone call to resolve the issue, but the host refused or claimed they couldn’t call. When calls did come through, they were from numbers flagged by my phone as potential scams and went straight to voicemail. I was left unable to verify the legitimacy of the booking or speak to a real person.The host insisted on payment through unclear channels and ignored my repeated concerns. Eventually, the reservation was marked as a no-show, and I was denied a refund—even though I was never provided with the necessary information to check in.As a result, I lost over 200 for a stay that never happened. This experience felt more like dealing with a bot or scam operation than a legitimate rental. I would strongly advise future guests to avoid this property unless VRBO can guarantee better oversight and clearer communication.

Good location, terrible smell, slow management response

Unit was as described, but unfortunately there was a terrible smell. In fact, multiple smells. When I checked in the unit smell like old / stale, maybe even moldy. I opened the windows and then there was the smell of fried food from a restaurant downstairs (with an air vent right outside the apartment back windows.) The smell reached a peak on day 4-5 of our stay, and then improved. No idea why. Management was slow on responding to complaints about smell, with first complaint about on Monday and no action taken until Friday. The same applies to complaints about power outlets not working (which was fixed) and slow WiFi (which was not)

This feels like spam

We stayed at the property for one night only. We arrived late in the afternoon and there were some junkies in around the building. The bulding is old, apartment was smelly from the building itself and surroundings, it all felt like a hostel and not VRBO family apartment. As this was our family vacation, we booked another hotel and moved our of apartment, the next day even though we paid for 3 days. We returned the keys to local shop as instructed after day 1 of our stay. We asked for return of our deposit numerous times but since the time we left we got no communication/response from the owners/renters. I was afraid leaving these comments as I believed that we would not get our deposit back if we leave bad reveiw. It is now not important anyway as I we probably would not see our deposit returned to us. Overall, this feels like a spam and very bad experience with VRBO.
