Panoramic manor house on Taormina and Etna

From Catania airport, take the A18 motorway towards Messina and exit at Fiumefreddo. From there go up towards Piedimonte Etneo. Before reaching the town, turn left towards Nunziata and continue for around 800 meters. You will see the house after a sequence of curves, at the top on your right. From the entrance gate, take the steep slope lined with columns. The climb requires some attention because it is narrow and with two curves. But once you get there you will find it is worth it.
The peculiarity of this house is not only the view, but also the fact of being in the countryside, surrounded by citrus and fruit trees, and being simultaneously close to both the sea (the Fiumefreddo beach is 10 minutes away by car) and the mountain. Furthermore, Taormina can be reached via the highway in about 25 minutes, in 15 minutes you can reach the Picciolo Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course, and the Riposto tourist port is also around 15 minutes away. There you can also rent sailboats to continue your holiday by exploring the east coast. In Fiumefreddo (5 km) there is also a flight field for hang gliders and microlights and a kart track. We are on the slopes of Etna, and the area is full of excursions, including the climb to the crater, a visit to the Alcantara river gorges and many typical restaurants. Even Catania, half an hour on the highway, reserves the surprise of a beautiful Baroque historic center.
