Family trip with elderly parents , location right on the lake , beautiful views across the sun setting on the lake . House was perfect , spacious , clean , kitchen had everything you need , furniture very comfortable and good quality . Terrace with a coffee was as relaxing as it’s gets , so nice . Host very helpful and made our stay so easy . Craig at the boat house is a great guy to chat to . Next to tearooms which my in-laws loved . Will definitely return . Golf at Thorpeness for me and wife was really good value and we used the golf club for a drink and socially as a family . Nice place thorpeness. Went to Dolphin pub for meal to celebrate birthday, okay but wouldn’t rush back . 5 stars for the house & location along with all the comforts away from home . Excellent stay .
