Absolutely loved our stay! It's so beautiful and quiet, I felt like we were truly staying in our own secret garden. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. The owners are also nearby to help with anything you might be missing or need. We stayed in most evenings and cooked meals, the kitchen had everything we needed for a family of 6.

There are too many good things to say about the hosts and the accommodations. The host sent us detailed tourist information before we arrived and even designed a day trip itinerary for us that was one of the best days of our trip. We were met in person and shown all of the facilities available to us including a game room with snooker, football, etc., TV's in each bedroom, movie library, books, etc. The grounds overlook the firth and are covered with flowers, fruit trees and a manicured lawn. The 3 bedroom home is well furnished, comfortable and cozy. We are already planning a return trip as 3 days wasn't nearly long enough to enjoy "The Secret Garden."

Quiet spot near Inverness

This is a quiet and clean property 5-6 miles outside of Inverness where the closest restaurants are located. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 with good kitchen and dining facilities. It has a beautiful yard where you can wander after a busy day.

We had a fabulous and memorable time staying in the suite at Old Drynie House !

The location of the beautiful home with large mature trees overlooking the Moray Firth and managed lawns made for a relaxing stay. Access to Inverness is very easy although the home lies in a peaceful environment and only a short drive to the Dolphin watching site at Chanonry Point. Views across the Firth are to Fort George with its impressive battlement walls.

One thing almost all our guests say is that they wish they had stayed longer, which is a real compliment that we appreciate. If Old Drynie House is your base you can reach almost all of the magic of the Highlands in several one day trips using our famous itineraries. Our Bed and Breakfast business scores 9.6 and has won best B&B in the North for the last four years and Best B&B in Scotland on one of those years. Everything is to a very high standard, you will not be disappointed.
