Our stay here did not get off to a great start. After receiving no communication from the owner (should be 2-3days in advance of arrival) we had to reach out to VRBO Care for assistance who did a great job of getting the owner to provide us with check in information an hour later.We arrived at the property to find that it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival and guests had just left. Beds slept in, towels used, toilet not flushed, garbage overflowing. We contacted the owner and he arranged for urgent housekeeping to be completed - we left the property for 3hrs so they could clean. Disappointed after a long journey from Canada we returned to the unit and it has been cleaned and set up for us to arrive.After an initial disappointing start to this trip the rest of our stay went very well, we enjoyed the apartment, , gated parking, green courtyard space, friendly chats with the neighbours and great access to Windsor and nearby stores etc. If it wasn't for the initial issues we would have scored this as excellent.
