Appartamento Simona Comfort&relax in Centro Paese

The apartment is a charming, very distinctive two-room unit located inside the family building, where only my family members live and where Grandpa Gano’s old carpentry shop used to be. The art of woodworking, a family tradition, is evident in the distinctive wooden terraces that frame the building, the front door, and the many wooden furnishings you’ll find throughout the building and inside the apartment itself. A taste of days gone by… At the back, you’ll still find the old woodworking shop built by Grandpa Gano, now used as a storage area.

The apartment is equipped with all the amenities you need to feel right at home: high-speed Wi-Fi with continuous 200MB fiber-optic access, Full HD Smart TVs with the free Tivùsat digital satellite platform in both the living room and bedroom, a universal adapter, an USB port, a fully equipped kitchen with a conventional oven and microwave, a fridge with freezer, and everything you need for cooking, including dishes, a set of Lagostina cookware, a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules, a kettle, toaster, juicer, and food scale. In the kitchen, you’ll also find organic olive oil and vinegar, salt, pepper, and several types of sugar. Additionally, for those who prefer classic ground coffee, there are 2 moka pots. We’ll provide an assortment of coffee and tea capsules to suit every taste.

The apartment is equipped with independent heating, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer complete with a diffuser and straightening plates. We provide towels, dressing gowns, bed linens, and an organic bathroom amenity kit.
The bedroom is very bright and spacious.

It can accommodate up to 4 people thanks to a comfortable, brand-new Made in Italy sofa bed.

It stays warm in winter and cool in summer.

There is also a courtyard adjacent to the apartment, featuring a table, chairs, a relaxation area with small sofas, and two umbrellas—a very peaceful space available exclusively for guests’ use.

You’ll also find “The Kids’ Corner” with toys, crayons and colouring pages, books, and a small table with two little chairs.

The apartment is in an excellent location just a short walk from the historic centre yet very quiet, close to all amenities, including bars (there’s an excellent café-pastry shop just a few metres away for a great breakfast), a hair salon, supermarkets, shops, banks, and more. Everything is easily accessible on foot. The Nobili Nursing Home is just 5 minutes away.
We’re also a 30-minute drive from the Mugello Circuit, a stop on the MotoGP World Championship. Half an hour from the Barberino Designer Outlet—the perfect spot for a day of shopping!
25 km from Rocchetta Mattei, the enchanting “pearl of the Bolognese Apennines”! Just 15 minutes from the magnificent Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Boccadirio, a magical place of faith that is definitely worth a visit.

We’re located in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, just a few kilometres from the beautiful Regional Park of the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes. The apartment is therefore ideal for those who want to spend a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature and serves as a convenient starting point for hikes and leisurely walks. Not only that, but we’re located right halfway between Bologna and Florence, both of which are about 60 km (a 60-minute drive) away, making this an excellent base for visiting these two beautiful cities at a more affordable price. Furthermore, since Castiglione dei Pepoli is just a few minutes from the “Badia” exit on the A1 highway, the Simona apartment can also be the ideal choice for a stopover in the Apennines before continuing your journey well-rested.
