The dam is the main attraction, but the cultural heritage available in the parish is equally interesting and diverse, as exemplified by the various churches, chapels, and the megalithic site of Montargil.
Nearby you can visit the Mora River Aquarium, the Brotas Pottery, the Galveias Water Park, the Ponte de Sôr swimming pools, Monte Selvagem in Lavre, the Alter Stud Farm, and the Avis Convent and Castle.
