We booked this cottage specifically to visit family in the local area which we know well. The barn is beautifully converted in a quiet, peaceful country location. Fantastic on site facilities for dog walking and country walks in the local area.

We stayed for a 5 day break , the barn was a mixture of contemporary and old rustic.
We stayed for a 5 day break , the barn was a mixture of contemporary and old rustic. It catered for everything we needed to chill and relax from busy working lives. Our dog loved the open plan and gardens outside. I highly recommend this barn and hope to come back. The owners were on hand, we had a small issue with toilet flush but it was fixed with in one day without fuss. This is the perfect venue anytime of the year.

A beautifully renovated old barn.
A beautifully renovated old barn. Just stunning, beautiful views out the double height glass of the surrounding paddocks and woodland. Superb. One quirk to be aware of.. the bathroom and toilet are open plan to the whole barn , so you can hear everything. It is upstairs so it’s not in line of sight. Also there are many steps and the bathroom/toilet is upstairs so may not suitable for someone with limited mobility. Also there is no walk in shower, but there is a gorgeous claw foot bath with hand shower. It suited us well!
Nice very clean well equipped cottage with good views over / access to lawn/paddock and woodland. Plenty of bird life. Helpful and welcoming owner who popped round to explain the oven (which was fine once understood !). You are next to another cottage/the owners’ house so not highly private but reasonable. Lovely countryside. Good for a couple - the rather open plan bathroom might make it difficult for more people. Main bedroom upstairs in the roof so it was hot in hot weather- a fan was provided but we were glad to have brought our own too. Overall enjoyed our week’s stay.
