• POOL HEAT:

Heating is available for $35 per day (plus tax) with a 5-day minimum and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Please note the attached spa is not a hot tub—it does not have jets, and it heats to the same temperature as the pool, not exceeding 90°F. The heating system uses heat exchange, which does not operate in temperatures below 50°F. No refunds will be provided if the pool does not reach the desired temperature in cold weather.



• GRILL:

Please note. Some of our homes may be pictured with a gas bbq grill or outdoor built in grill. If guests wish to use the grills, it is the guest's responsibility to clean the grill and replenish the propane tank if needed. A $50 charge will be applied if grills are left unclean. Exchange refill propane tanks can be purchased at numerous local locations. If the grill is locked up, then it is not to be used by guests as it is the homeowner's personal grill. If you would like to have a grill for your vacation, we can arrange a rental grill for your stay.

House was great! Spacious, clean and perfect location to everything! We had one small issue with internet but they immediately got back to me and had it resolved within a half hour. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Lovely villa and fantastic location.

Great facilities. Perfect location and lovely villa. 2 very slight improvements would be an information folder explaining how to get facility pass and what to do with rubbish and if beds need stripping at the end etc. Also more outdoor chairs and loungers would be nice for the size of the villa but overall would absolutely recommend it to anyone

House needs to be exterminated. Roaches and ants are everywhere. Carpet need to be cleaned. Nob on kitchen sink is broken.

Great location!

Pros - We booked last minute as in the night before and digitized keyless entry worked great. We loved the house, the decorations, the pool, hot tub, the lanai, and lazy river. The house was perfect for our 2 families, 4 adults and 5 kids. The room themes and decorations were adorable. The main master bedroom was beautiful and large bathroom felt like home. My 12 yo loved the nautical room. Private pool with hot tub and lanai was perfect. The house came with plenty towels which was nice. There were 2 adult sized bikes available in garage which we didn’t use. for Public pool with lazy river was a bonus. There was a simulated surfing for a price which we couldn’t use due to 16 yo requirement. The teens room was dark but included ps4 (?) and golf simulator. My son mentioned software included other sports similar to what’s offered on Disney Cruise spirts simulator. The Story Lake development is 5 min drive from Disney, 10 min drive to Universal, and abundance of restaurants for dining options. Close to Target which is a bonus. Chelsea in maintenance was the star of the show once Monday rolled around during office hours. Thanks, Chelsea for all your help!! Cons - the home was clean but not recently prior to our arrival. There were dead drain flies in shower, in kitchen, on the dining room table and plates. The shower emitted sulfuric stench due to being unused during pandemic. Maintenance is unavailable on weekends unless emergency. Stinky rotten egg shower and flies do not qualify. We did get a hold of maintenance Monday morning to turn on pool heat which takes at least 24 hrs to heat up so we lost 2 days to use pool, house cleaned which took 2 days, pool was full of bugs (lanai had cracks and holes) which took 2-3 days and pool guy had to come 2xs. Pool guy left hose in pool, we had to remove to close screen door. Hot tub never quite got hot but the pool did heat up nicely once heat was turned on. Maintenance informed us they’re not allowed to go above this temp. We were at another rental in Kissimme and we had full access to pool heat and a much clean pool. Pool bottom was permanently dirty in appearance as pool guy came by 2xs. Two kids cut their toe, bleeding in pool, rough surface somewhere on pool step. Crowds thinned out at pool once weekend ended. Overall, great house/ location, Weekend maintenance needs major improvement. There were 25 agencies Managing various rentals at story lake- way too many IMO.

Mas não estava bem equipada (faltavam alguns itens importantes), que foram trazidos pela administradora profissional (Mari), que é excelente e fez o possível para que tivéssemos uma ótima estadia. Tivemos que pagar pela piscina aquecida, o que não estava claro no anúncio. Mas, de modo geral, nossa estadia foi muito boa. Recomendo.

Excellent property in great location!

First, the positives: - space for everyone and two living rooms - excellent location; close to all parks - beautiful, modern decor - great setting with the pool overlooking the lake - situated in the ‘hideaway club’ division of Storey Lake, with a small water park replete with two slides, a lazy river, splash pad, pool and poolside bar! - great price! Now for the negatives: - the listing doesn’t match the actual property amenities in a few ways; some impactful. For example, there are NO twin beds, which was a critical need for my party with the number of beds needed. We made do with the day bed in the princess room, which also has a full bed, but it was not ideal. There are also NOT 7 TV’s in this house, which wasn’t as critical, but still a discrepancy. - the property lacks ample dining accommodations with only 3 dining room chairs (although the pictures show 4). Most properties I’ve booked at in this size/price range have at least 6 chairs, if not more. - the pool hot tub is unusable before 9 am, as turning on the hot tub immediately drains the water out of the tub since the main pool circulator is on a timer and does not come on until just before 9 am. - broken vertical blinds going from the kitchen to the pool; as soon as we touched them, a couple fell to the ground. Closer inspection revealed that their mounting holes were sheared and they were put back into place for appearances. Any attempt to use them, you know, as blinds, would result in them falling off. - no extra towels are provided, only two large towels per bathroom. - perhaps the biggest gripe was the management company’s lack of any consistent response to my questions or complaints regarding the above issues (except the towels, I didn’t address that with them). I received either partial or no response when I brought these issues to their attention, which was a bit disconcerting. The oddest response was when I brought up the discrepancies in amenities from the actual listing; they would only reply with “property looks like pictures” and would not directly answer specific questions posed like “what is the bed count and type?”. Overall, this is an excellent property in many ways, which is done a disservice by the management company. I hope the owners of the property read these reviews and take note, because their property is worth having far more attentive representation.

Poorly cleaned kitchen

The home itself is beautiful and the location is great, but when it comes to cleaning, we give it a zero on the kitchen. There was food crumbs under the chairs and table, and popcorn under the coffee table in the area. My wife passed clorox cleaning wipes on the kitchen counters, and they took up food residue. We also found crumbs on the counter around the stove. The rest of the home was clean and in order, including the bathrooms.

Beautiful Property and community!

The property is beautiful and work very well for our vacation with extended family. Everyone had their own space to escape to if they wanted and the common areas were nice and spacious. We only ran into a couple of minor issues. When wanting to sit and eat, there was a bar with 4 stools in the kitchen, a dining room table and patio table, the dining table only had 3 chairs. With a large group like we had, we would have liked to have 8 chairs at the table to be able to eat dinner together. For the size of the home, there is plenty of space for this. We also did not have enough towels and wash cloths for 12 people which caused us to go purchase additional at the store. Overall we love the property and would go back. Thank you!

Beautiful house in a great location

The inside of the house is immaculate. As for the description, it was wrong and there were only 3 TVs instead of 7 (not a big deal though). The pool level was pretty low and required the hose. Our biggest issue were bugs; there were mites/ants in the house. We had some type of mites on the bathroom counters day 1 and ended up with ants in the kitchen after leaving a box of donuts out overnight.

Liked the location as it backed into the lake but lots of airplanes and dump trucks constantly. Arrived on a Sat. and tried to connect to wifi with the info in the binder and our email, both were different and incorrect. Had to call the telephone number, but their business hours were over when we arrived and the phone supplied by the house was dead. Finally got through and was told a totally different pw and server. Asked about our pool heat. Told we didn’t pay for it. According to my request, it was implied that we would have it. Paid for it and was told they would send a tech out. Nobody showed up until late Tuesday, even though I had sent several messages Sun and Mon with no response. Called the number again during business hours and the mailbox was full and could not even leave a voicemail. Tech started the heater Tuesday afternoon, and said he had just gotten the message that day. It ran for 5 minutes and then stopped and half of the hot tub started to drain. My husband got in the van and circled the neighbourhood to find the worker. He said it was broken and had called it in. Later that aft someone else arrived and finally got it going. Finally warmed up by Wednesday aft and then it didn’t stop. The pool was hotter than the hotub at the clubhouse, just awful. Messaged about no cable early in the week, in the living room. My husband was able to reboot the boxes to the other two tv’s and got them working. No instructions for any of them and it was never addressed or fixed. Top of the handrail was broken and hanging off the wall at the top of the staircase. Hole in the door to the office. Broken dryer, had to hang the laundry outside. The towels were all damp when we arrived so they must have known about it. All week, had problems entering the gates in the evening. Had to enter through the exit several times after waiting forever to get in, as no one in the complex had a working code, not that we were even given one. Ants were noticed all week. Our last night we went and bought some crispy cream donuts for a quick breakfast the next morning. Woke up to ants inside the closed box. Vertical blinds falling apart as soon as you closed or opened them. Such a disappointing week as we looked forward to having our own pool as a member of the family has mobility issues and couldn’t get to the clubhouse easily and then the pool was too hot. Have asked for reimbursement for heat and haven’t heard back from anyone, which is no surprise. Owners need to kno

The unit itself was just as pictured - absolutely beautiful. Our only disappointments were there were no TVs in any of the 5 upstairs bedrooms, only 3 chairs at the dining room table and no lounge chairs for the pool so we were unable to lay in the sun. Other than that it was perfect.

Beautiful villa with a few snags it does not have seven tv’s as advertised and when we arrived the main downstairs tv was not working after calling maintenance it took four days into our holiday for it to be replaced. Overall though it is a lovely home and a great complex to spend your holiday at.

Extended family holiday

The stay in the Storey Lake villa was exceptional, the facilities and the design of the property was as the pictures illustrated - very spacious and a fantastic master suite. Location was perfect just 4 miles from the I4 and 10 miles to the door of Disney. We contacted the management agent on arrival as no pack & play or high chair was present as promised but they were delivered immediately. The only downside was NO sun loungers around the pool area, but as we didn't spend much time at 'home' it wasn't too much of an inconvenience as the chairs and cushions doubled up nicely. The developments pool, club house and bar facilities were great but we didn't get opportunity to spend much time there. I would recommend to others and would stay here again.

Nice house - with a few discrepencies

We booked through Executive Villas. The house was well appointed and spacious for the 9 of us. We never felt crowded. We absolutely loved the covered pool and patio area. The view of the lake was wonderful. The house was within a 5-10 minute drive to the Walt Disney World Parks, Orlando Eye, and some great shopping centers. The book with all the instructions is on the table in the hallway when you first walk in. I walked through when we first arrived to take pictures of the anything that was broken just in case we needed them for later. There were quite a few things, so pay attention. There is very little in the way of cookware and no storage containers. We bought a glass measuring cup and left it for future guests. It appears that this does not happen a lot because there was no sugar, coffee filters, coffee, salt, pepper, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, hand soap, cooler out back, cleaner, sponges, paper plates, plastic cups, or canned goods. I UNDERSTAND that it is not expected, but we have stayed at other houses through VRBO and people always leave stuff behind for future guests. Maybe the cleaning staff is told to take everything out when they clean, I’m not sure. Everything I mentioned above we left for the next guests. Trash service was not correct in our book. You put your full trash bags in the bench out front and they will come pick it up daily. Ants…yes there are ants, but this is Florida so EXPECT that. They do treat the house weekly, we know this because they came to the door our first day there. We rented a grill, but we didn’t have to because there is one there already. This was a little disappointing that we paid extra for something we didn’t need. Do not expect a HOT – hot/tub even with purchasing pool heat. We still enjoyed it though. TVs…There are NOT 7 TVs in the house as advertised. There are 3, one in the Paris bdrm downstairs and one in both the living rooms. We didn’t watch TV during the day, but there were 5 people in our group that go to sleep with a TV on the timer, so it was a little disappointing to have this advertised and not be there. The master bedroom did not have a fan, so we bought one and left it there. You will need it, since you can’t turn the A/C below 74 or the unit will freeze up. The beds were comfortable throughout the house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a blast at the parks during the day and hanging out in the private pool with our family at night.

Great Property, error in description

The property was new and well appointed. Check-in was easy, just entered a code into the keypad on the door. Our only quibbles were a lack on non-glass cups for use in the pool area, a security gate to the subdivision that did not work at all during our stay (not the homeowner's direct fault, but still annoying) and the description of the beds is inaccurate - description says there are 2 Kings, 2 Queens, and two sets of twins - there are NO twin beds on this property. Actual beds are 2 kings, 3 queens, and a full bed with a daybed in the last room. Would definitely stay again.
