Welcoming cottage near the sea-By Traum

A warm welcome to the cottage in a quiet cottage area in wonderful Mellbystrand and only a stone's throw from the sea. Sweden's longest beach is within walking distance. Here it is shallow and very child-friendly. The house is bright inside and somewhat of an older style outside. The location is very good and a fine choice for the group and family of 6 people. You are welcomed into a hall with the kitchen straight ahead. There is most everything you could need and a kitchen table with chairs. In the garden there is a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and good dinners after a whole day on the sandy beach. There are two bedrooms. A bedroom with a double bed 180 cm wide. A smaller one with a bunk bed and in the living room there is a sofa bed approx. 140 cm wide. In the living room you can watch TV and there is wifi in the cabin. It is bright, homely in an older Swedish style. The grounds outside invite you to play. In the cottage there is also a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. There is also a washing machine, which is perfect for those traveling with small children. The area is quiet and peaceful. Not far from the cottage is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and small shops and restaurants. In the northern part is Hökafältet, a valued nature reserve with several exercise loops and walking paths. To the south, the development turns into Skummeslövstrand's summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. Nearby there is a shopping center and in the area there are a large number of summer activities, e.g. tennis, paddle and mini golf. Just south of you reach the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. There are excellent cycling routes to the north and south. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. Why not pay a visit to the small town of Laholm with its beautiful location by the Lagan. Lagan has a nice salmon fishery (fishing license required). For those interested in golf, there are many golf courses in the area. The nearest is Laholms GK.
