A gem in a perfect location
We recently stayed at Rosemount Guesthouse for a quiet celebration of my 50th birthday with family and friends, and it was nothing short of perfect. The accommodation was immaculate, with rooms that catered to all preferences -some grand with four-poster beds, and even the smaller rooms were generously sized and all ensuite.
The heart of the property is its spacious open-plan kitchen, featuring a large table that comfortably seated all 11 of us -ideal for group meals / takeway. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to both Bowness and Windermere, offering plenty of opportunities for scenic walks.
Check-in was seamless, and communication throughout our stay was excellent. Rosemount has an undeniable touch of class that makes it perfect for a memorable Lake District get-together. Ample parking for six cars was a bonus.
I truly cannot recommend Rosemount highly enough—it exceeded all expectations and made our weekend incredibly special. And, the hot tub helped with the aching bones after a long walk to Hawkshead (via the ferry). Oh, and the coffee machine was another star of the show!
