This unit is on the 15th floor with spectacular Bay views. If you want a vacation that makes you feel pampered with furniture throughout, 800 count sheets, private balcony and new modern bedding, this is your place. Property features a 24 hour concierge, 2nd floor coffee bar, 2 pools (1 is infinity) with wading area and water features for kids. You are literally ON the beach. No crossing the highway and no crossing the seawall, elevator access to the boardwalk directly to the beach. East Beach is the luxury beach of Galveston. No where in Galveston comes close to this beautiful place. Less than a 1/2 mile walk to the Porch Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Easy bike ride to many restaurants and attractions along the Seawall or The Strand.

The workout facility has all new Life Fitness Equipment with over 20 pieces, so no waiting. The dry sauna is in pristine condition. Tennis and Basketball courts. Beach-style Luau fire pit. Game room with pool table, shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, board games with a large screen TV. PlayScape™ Beachcomber Kid's Club. You are within 1 mile of the seawall & all it's restaurants/bars.

Local Attractions: Schlitterbahn Water Park is a fun family place, especially on those hot summer days. The Strand is a fabulous area about 2 miles away with an Art District, shopping and restaurants on The Pier. The Pier has narrated boat tours, the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig and Museum and fishing boats for charter. Be sure to visit the Old Fashioned Soda and Taffy Parlor on The Strand, where they will spin the taffy and throw you a piece, while you enjoy your Root Beer Float. The Strand has Horse and Buggy Carriage rides throughout the Historic District. On the Seawall, you can take a Duck Boat Tour, Segway tour or rent jet skis for the afternoon. Moody Gardens features an IMAX Theater, Butterfly Museum, Paddleboat tour and Aquarium. NASA Space center is approximately 30 minutes north with a Tanger Outlet Mall on the way. Downtown Houston is about 45 minutes - home of the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans and Houston Astros.

Amenities in the Condo:
Master bedroom features a King bed with 800 count sheets, a ceiling fan and a private bath. Double closet with luggage rack and lots of drawer space. Master has a LED/LCD TV with basic cable and DVD player. This room has a view of the Bay and Gulf. The Bay has a spectacular nighttime view of downtown Galveston and UTMB Medical Center. The Master bath has granite counter tops and an over-sized spa tub with massage shower head. Hair dryers are in all bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel are in all showers.

Second Bedroom features a queen bed, 800 count sheets, ceiling fans and a LED/LCD TV with basic cable. This bedroom is equipped with both a Playstation 3 and a Xbox 360 gaming systems with select video games for the kids! The floor to ceiling window in this room shows the Bay View. The Second Bathroom is a full bath with a walk-in shower.

Living Room has a floor to ceiling wall of windows. 4K 55" TV with basic cable. Large dining room table seats 4 with an additional bar area that seats 2.

The Pallisade Palms is a beautiful property. The condo has a beautiful view of the bay and sunset. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. The unit could use a refresh as the base boards and paint are dinged up and dirty. When we arrived there was a half roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. There was no dish soap, dishwasher tablets or detergent (if you use the "beach towels" provided, you are required to wash them). We did enjoy our stay but attention to the details is very important.

Perfect location, beautiful facility

This was our third year in the same unit. The facility is perfect for our group consisting of a toddler, a great grandmother and parents in between. We love the pools and easy beach access and of course the playroom. This end of the island is definitely our speed. We love how quiet the beach and area is. Will very likely return a fourth year!

Great unit with a ship channel and city view

This is a spacious and well maintained unit. We own a unit in this building and the amenities are great! It is very safe and has a great pool, covered parking, fitness center and 24 hour staffed front desk. My family enjoyed their stay the week of Christmas. We would rent this unit again for our overflow guests.

The condo was wonderful. The view is great! Beautiful sunsets. The pools were nice but the air was cool. The game room was a hit with our niece and nephew who visited for a weekend. When the tv stopped working, Leah came over right away and took care of it.

Condo was clean. Everything worked as it should. The condo is spacious with an Amazing view of the Bay. The pool was great. Our kids enjoyed having a PS3 and a Xbox 360 to play in between swimming /tanning and enjoying our favorite places to eat in Galveston.

Nice birding from our bay view unit. Second bedroom was pretty small with no closet usage. Kitchen was nice as were the washer and dryer. All the guests we happened to meet were friendly and helpful.

We traveled with my mom. The Palisade Palms was the perfect place to stay. The property is beautiful with almost private access to the beach. The sunrises were beautiful. The pool area is spectacular. This condo on the 15th floor had amazing views of the bay. We spend hours watching the ships coming in and out. Stocked with everything we needed. Host was easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. We look forward to another trip to Galveston and staying at this fabulous condo.

Great place with lots of amenities!

We had 4 adults and 2 kids. The condo was spacious and comfortable. Easy beach access and the place has a pool and hot tub access that was never too full even at spring break. The beach is clean too! Our kids didn't want to use the sleeper sofa and since there weren't curtains on the living room windows they would have been awake early. But there were air mattresses with sheets that allowed us to put them in other places. Beach towels and beach toys available were great for the kids! We would definitely stay again.

Well worth it!

Beautiful well kept & clean condo right on the beach! Owner provides everything you can think of. (Beach tent, boogie boards, sand toys, pool noodles, basketballs, towels) Beach chairs provided by the building. Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans. Kids loved all the building amenities (24hr fitness & game room), pool area open till 1am perfect for late night swimming. Feels very private & secure, away from the crowds but still close enough to drive or walk on the beach to the seawall. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will recommend this place to all our friends & family looking to visit Galveston.

Condo review

The main thing I was disappointed in was the cleanliness of the condo. There was puboc hair in the bathtub and toilet, I could tell the floors had not been properly cleaned by the amount of dust and hair on them. There was also notable dust on furniture. For the cost, I expected it to be cleaner.

A great return visit!

We visited Galveston for the fourth year in a row and the second time to this property. We are already planning to return again next year. This is a great place for our three year old. The pools are shallow and so fun he also loves to visit the playroom each morning before most of the family wakes up. Our 86 year old grandma does well in this property too! Great reviews from all.

Wonderful stay at Palisade Palms

This is our 3rd time staying at the Palisade. We love this condo because of its amenities, private beach and how close it is to all the things we like to do in Galveston. Our condo was just what we were looking for. The owner had everything we needed including extra beach toys, boogie boards and even buckets and flashlights for late night crab hunting. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back next summer!

East Beach delight

This unit is located in a twin tower condominium on the east beach of Galveston. The balcony faces the bay with an endless parade of interesting ships in the channel, and high enough to avoid the mosquitos. We were able to play pickleball, pool, shuffleboard and swim in the gulf via the nearby beach. Also found nearby cycling on quiet and safe roads. the unit is clean and quiet except for two days of lawn maintenance below, with the drone of leafblowers all over the property. Our host was pleasant and responsive. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
