Fully Equipped Cottage, Right Next to Lake Weir

Located in the heart of Ocklawaha, this cosy, family-run cottage is just half a mile from Lake Weir.

Our house comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, making it perfect for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy quality time together—whether embarking on the many adventures around the area, enjoying the games and fire pit by the mural on our patio, or simply snuggling up inside.

The Ocklawaha area offers plenty of outdoor activities to explore and great restaurants and pubs near the house.

This newly renovated space features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with a dinette, a large back patio, and a fully stocked laundry area.

The master bedroom has a full-size bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom. Additionally, three other bedrooms share the second bathroom: one with a queen-size bed, one with two twin beds, and one with a sofa bed.

Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious meals during your stay, and a fully stocked laundry area is available.

Outside, you can enjoy a coffee on the deck or hot chocolate and marshmallows by the fire pit and play outdoor games by our hand-painted mural. (Yes, we painted it ourselves to make your holiday a memorable one!)

Great place to stay while we visited friends nearby. Nice fenced yard for our dogs. Would definitely stay again. Just be aware of the large pothole coming in from the side street. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lake Weir

If you want to be near the action and want an excellent and clean place to stay. This is the place to stay which is close to bars, close to the villages, and close to national forest. Although we weren’t used to road noises we quickly adjusted. When visiting my folks next year I will surely stay there again

Great spot right by lake weir

House was very clean with an easy code entry. Everything was better than expected. My only warning is BEWARE there are stairs inside and at front. I had an injury which made them difficult, but nobody else had problems.

Another relaxing holiday

This cottage was an excellent choice for a place to stay, Ocklawaha is a great location on the edge of the Ocala National Forest, great for relaxing, but not too far away from Central Florida and it's attractions. The cottage was well situated and well equipped, communication with Daniela was superb, all emails were promptly replied to, we even asked for a kettle which arrived in two days. It was clean and tidy with plenty of space , so larger parties would not feel cramped staying there. Sitting out the back in the morning or evening was a pleasure. I don't hesitate in recommending this property and wish Daniela all the best for the future.

The property was very comfortable, stocked well beyond expected nice location to go anywhere. It was very quiet other than road traffic which was not that bad. There are allot of steps so if a person has handicap issues you might not want to choose but if you are able bodied this home is cute as can be. Host wonderful, home clean, beach a block away on lake wier.
