Best Place North of Inverness

Thank you for an incredible experience from start to finish. The Wilson house was perfect for our golfing trip north of Inverness. It is an ideal location to get to ALL courses from all the way up in Wick to Fortress & Rosemarkie to the south. The house was clean, well maintained, fully stocked and perfect for all our needs. The suggestions for restaurants from Catherine were superb and lived up to their description. If you are planning to golf north of Inverness you should start here as your base to travel from. This was five star all the way !

Outstanding home

The house is absolutely wonderful is in a great location and is well appointed. Has everything you need for light cooking. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed as well. The house is on the beach with a wonderful two-level grass yard for kids to play. It is fenced so offers privacy and safety. It is right on the main Street of Golspie so shops restaurants and groceries are just steps away. It is only a 5-minute drive to Dunrobin Castle. It is also in an easy driving distance to Dornoch and to the Glenmorangie distillery. I highly recommend this property. We did however have a very difficult time finding it based on the instructions we were provided by the rental agent. Rental agent also did not respond to our message asking for assistance. Fortunately the people who live there were incredibly kind and pointed out where the property was and even offered to walk us to it.
