A beautiful location which was peaceful but close enough to Chelmsford for our needs. Wood definitely visit again and would recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful peaceful retreat

Romantic Weekend

A cosy retreat in beautiful surroundings with beautiful walks and nearby attractions. I would happily recommend this place as a couples escape.

Would return in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately on arrival we had a small hiccup in that the cabin was only set for 2 guests instead of 3 and the happy birthday banners we had ordered were not present; however, we contacted Jo who within 10 minutes had dropped off extra towels and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for us as an apology- easily forgiven! The cabin itself and outside area was spotless and stocked with everything you could need. The hot tub was fantastic and massage on site phenomenal! Would return in a heartbeat

The cabin itself was beautiful and better than expected, it really felt like a getaway even though we was only an hour away from home. The hosts were so kind and were available to help/advise if needed. Will 100% be returning.

The only place I truly switch off

We have been to the cabin multiple times and keep coming back because it is so relaxing. It allows me to truly switch off and reset and I always come back feeling de-stressed. It’s even better now that you can get a massage on site! Our dog loves it too, it’s nice that it’s dog friendly so you don’t feel guilty leaving your pet behind! Jo is always so helpful and the welcome basket that you arrive to is lovely. I’ve never had a better lemon drizzle cake.
