Experience a relaxing holiday by the water in this newly renovated cottage on Svärtinge Udde. The cottage is on a shared plot with the owner but offers privacy and a fantastic location with 75 meters down to Lake Glan. A fantastic plot and garden and your parking space next to the house. The cottage has a slightly smaller living room with TV as well as a kitchen and dining area, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there is also a washing machine. The sleeping part is in the middle of the house and it is an open plan and there is a double bed. The cottage suits the small family, it has a fresh and nice bathroom with shower. Here there is plenty to do for the adventurous, while the surrounding lakes and forests provide fantastic opportunities for peaceful relaxation. There is a small covered terrace at the entrance and a seating area and barbecue next to the house with a lake view. It is approx: 200 meters to the swimming area with lawn and there are two more nice swimming areas Tingsbröten and Skarsäter in the area, next to the swimming area there is an activity park for children. Nice hiking trails and cycling around Glan is an experience. Deep in the forests north of Svärtinge lie the lakes Jusjön and Åkern. These are two of several forest lakes with established rainbow and trout in the area. Along the beaches there are several nice rest areas with wind protection and fireplaces where you can cook your catch. Fishing is run by Östergötland's sport fishing guide.You canfind information about fishing licenses and rules on their website. Restaurant Villa Flora at Billbäck's nursery in their fantastic garden, you can eat a well-prepared meal or enjoy home-baked to the scent of seasonal garden notes. Enjoy a good meal in the shade of a bamboo gazebo or choose their gazebo next to the pond. If you want to go on other adventures and discover the big city of Norrköping, it takes about 20 minutes by car. Art and culture are a big part of Norrköping. In the heart of Norrköping lies Knäpingsborg with ancient buildings and its cozy restaurants, bars, cafes and lots of shopping. There are many old industrial buildings that have been preserved and the stream that flows through the city. Worth a visit is the picturesque town of Söderköping with all its charm and the Göta canal passes through the town with its beautiful passenger boats. 3 miles from the cabin is Kolmården, the Nordic region's largest zoo, safari park and rides, if you want to go on a longer day trip, it's about a two-hour drive to Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby, then you also pass the city of Linköping with all its offerings. Feel free to visit Gamla Linköping, which is one of Östergötland's biggest tourist destinations, here history comes alive and you can experience the city, countryside and forest as it was a hundred years ago.
