This cozy cottage is within walking distance from Kläppen Arena and only 20 km south of Sälen. Here you can enjoy the tranquility in scenic surroundings, take a walk along the embankment, fish in the Västerdalälven river, pick seasonal berries in the forest next to the cottage or take a dip at Kläppen Camping. Nearby is Gråhedsdammen, which is a pay & fish pond and a much appreciated activity for young and old. Bur it is strictly forbidden to fish in the little pond at the house. The cottage, which has two floors, has on the ground floor a welcoming outer hall with drying cabinets for wet swimwear after the day's adventure and an inner hall that leads on to the kitchen, bathroom and the stairs to the upper floor. The kitchen has a typical warming wood stove with a covered hood that is built with natural extraction of air in the old-fashioned way, and next to the wood stove is the regular stove. There is a dining table with chairs and fridge & freezer. NOTE: The dishwasher in the kitchen is very small and placed on the kitchen counter. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy living room with tiled stove, dining area, sofa, armchairs, TV and Apple TV. The bathroom is located in the hall and has a toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. Upstairs there is a hall and the two bedrooms. The first with a double bed -180cm and TV with chromecast. The second bedroom has two extra wide walled bunk beds that are -110 cm. The cottage is excellent for 6 people. Youth groups under the age of 25 cannot book this accommodation without the guardian's company during the entire stay. There are many activities around and in the mountains. Here you can fish, paddle a canoe, play paddle, hike, ride a mountain bike, play mini golf, paddle SUP on the river, play disc golf or regular golf, swim at Experium, test the high-altitude course, train in an outdoor gym, dry slope with rails, trampolines, mini ramp for skateboarding, kickbike and inline skating and many many more activities.
