6 person holiday home in Åsenfjord-By Traum

Comfortable cabin with in idyllic and quiet surroundings by the Åsenfjord, 50 km north of Trondheim. Sunny and child-friendly plot with a view of the fjord. Nice starting point for day trips by car. Fishing opportunities in the lake where a boat can be rented. The cabin is pleasantly furnished and has 3 bedrooms with a double bed in each room. Tiled bathroom with heating cables in the floor. In the living room is a wood-burning stove that provides good heat on cool days. From the living room there is access to a large terrace with a lovely garden room, garden grill, barbecue kitchen and outdoor furniture. The whole family will enjoy themselves here. On the lawn below the terrace is a trampoline. The garden room at the terrace can only be used between April 1st and October 1st. From the cabin and the terrace there is a great view of the fjord 100 m below. The beach is shallow and child-friendly and offers great opportunities for swimming for the whole family, from the beach or from the jetty. Good fishing opportunities and a boat with a motor is moored at the floating jetty and can be rented. Salmon fishing can be done in the river Stjørdalselva or Verdalselva. Nice walking opportunities, 300 m to a hiking trail. Nice starting point for road trips. There are many monuments in the area that are worth seeing: the monastery ruins at Tautra by Frosta, Stiklestad church from the year 1100, built on the site where Olav Haraldsson fell in battle in 1030 m.m. 60 km to the city of Trondheim with many sights, shops and restaurants. Parking at the cottage, 2 km to the grocery shop.
