We loved our stay here! Cannot beat the location to downtown Wilmington. Parking was very nice. Kitchen is fully equipped, which is nice. Area is beautiful and quiet.
The house was fantastic! Plenty of room. Easy parking. Restaurants and bars all within a block or 2. Only a 15 minute drive to beach. It is really a wonderful place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient, home was spacious and clean, and the front porch and lovely backyard really added to the experience. The host was responsive and made it very easy for us to have a great visit in Wilmington. We would certainty stay again when visiting the area.
This place is amazing. Such a cool house perfect location, stocked with anything you could need and the owner is just so easy and a pleasure to communicate with. We will be back!!
All reviews from my wife and two sisters-in-law were enthusiastically positive! To quote my wife, " historic charm meets modern convenience - beautiful home, furnished with care; thoughtful touches throughout. Great kitchen, well-equipped; bathrooms were lovely, and the whole place was very clean ( kudos to whoever does the housekeeping !) and homey, in the best sense of the word. Yes, the narrow "carriage" drive was as described - pulling in the side mirrors allowed the small SUV to carefully navigate to back parking area. Great location for leisurely walk downtown and to the river. Communication with host, Brian, was excellent!"
Brian is always a great host and we look forward to coming back here every year!! We love the house. Plenty of room and close to everything you would want to do!
Brian has done a great job with this home he has all the little things taken care off. The patio in the back is a great spot to sit and have lunch with you favorite people. A short walk and you are at the river with all the restaurants and shops.
We had a great time staying at this home, which was in a safe neighborhood and convenient to the Historic District. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host

I love to be social. There is never a stranger I won't talk to. I love old houses and old communities like I grew up in. I love the simple pleasures, such as, the water and parks.
Why they chose this property
The property has all the great architecture and beauty of the houses of yesteryear. The whole community is just as nice with trolley and carriage rides right in front of the house. The historic downtown with a view of the river is breathtaking with a view of the sunset. Downtown has a lot of options for those vegetarians and vegans and very hospitable to our four legged friends.
