Great family ski visit

We had a great stay as a family of 4 with elementary aged kids—the kids loved the game cupboard and loft, and adults loved the well stocked kitchen, proximity to the slopes, convenience of multiple bathrooms. Everything worked well and looked beautiful. We did the 5 minute hike to the Waldorf lift, and it was doable even for the 6 year old with parents carrying her skis.

Great location and the renovations are lovely! Rick and Laura were very helpful and responsive when anything came up. First trip for my boys skiing out west and this was the perfect place for us to stay! Thank you Rick and Laura!

(1) Nice condo in a fantastic location. Basically ski in/out. (2) Great amenities like a private hot tub. Comfy beds. (3) Well stocked pantry with all the basics needed to cook insight. (4) Owners are very responsive and care about your stay. Would be glad to stay again.

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. It was clean and comfortable had everything we needed. It was a great location and getting around town was easy. Rick and Laura were so helpful with all of my questions. We will definitely be returning and i highly recommend.

Canyons Base Convenience

We had a great stay at the property. Communication with Rick was excellent. Place was very clean. Kitchen appliances all brand new. Ski in access was super easy. Would stay again.

Great location

Great location. Access to shuttle made getting to the lifts super easy. Lots of stairs in the unit, which we already knew about, so wouldn’t recommend if stairs aren’t your thing. We had everything we needed. And the private hot tub was great.

This was our second time staying!

We enjoyed every minute of it! The house is well equipped with everything you need for a cozy and comfortable stay with your family. Location is perfect! So close to slopes and so easy to get around. Park City is minutes away too! Rick and Lauren are very nice and available for any last minute communication.

The condo was very well located, with the ability to ski down to a gondola with a bit of a hike up a hill behind the unit. Laura was very responsive and the unit was as advertised. Everything you need in the kitchen, private hot tub, comfortable beds. I’d stay here again.

We loved this stay! Everything was exactly as shown in photos. Rick was really helpful with everything and very quick to communicate. The condo was walking distance to east transportation and I would definitely stay there again. The private hot tub was the perfect end to our ski days. Also, the kitchen was very stocked with great appliances!

What an amazing location when skiing the canyons!

We couldn't ask for a better location. The host was quick to answer all of my questions and worked with us to make this an amazing trip. The only concern was that the HVAC system was noisy. Small price to pay for a great vacation.

Park City Perfect!

Warm and cozy unit, in a great location. Especially loved the gas fireplace and hot tub, which we used every night. Cooking meals in the kitchen was a breeze, with large and easy to use appliances. We loved exploring Park City and the area but also loved returning back to this condo! (Safety note to owner: the railing on the back of the deck is shaky and needs repair.)

Frustrating Family Ski Trip

Condo was nice. Biggest disappointment was the gas fireplace not working for majority of our 5 day trip. Rick said he has had 4 companies try to repair it, and hopefully the 5th attempt would work, it did for 1 1/2 days. A fireplace is a must for us when on a ski vacation. It was incredibly frustrating, distracting ( we kept fiddling with on/off switch as recommended by Rick) and disappointing.

Great for ski trip!

The property was amazing overall! It was listed as ‘ski in/out’ but the slope there is so flat and I groomed, it was impossible for us snowboarders. However, the condo has a FREE UBER for Canyons locations - we used this multiple times a day and it was fantastic. Plus, it picks right up at the door! Definitely made up for the difficulty we had actually hopping directly on the slope behind the condo. Hot tub was great, kitchen well-stocked, GREAT for kids (they loved the loft and all the games). Thanks!

Decent but needs better maintenance

Location is great and it was reasonably clean however there were various maintenance issues that we had to work through and the single zone heating left the downstairs with the bedrooms cold while the loft beds sweltering. Layout is also a bit strange. Owners were responsive and friendly. Door code wasn’t given until we were outside the unit and really should have been included in the original instructional email.

The place was clean and comfortable with really close access to the frost wood gondola. Some minor things that could have been better are 1. Refrigerator water dispenser level could have been fixed. 2. Many of the plug outlets were worn out and the plugs kept falling out. 3. The upstairs beds were very hard to get to because of the low ceilings. They were only really appropriate for children.

Great value for the money

We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights with our family of 6. The home is cozy and even had a bunch of toys for my youngest to play with and a creek out the back. They had recently installed A/C which was a pleasant surprise since it was very hot while we were there. The few issues we ran into were resolved within 24 hrs - not working washer, no electric in the loft - minor inconveniences. They both seemed related to construction that took place before we arrived. We were surprised by how low the ceilings were in the loft, my teenaged sons kept hitting their heads. The area is fairly small up there. We were also surprised that the bed in the master is listed as a king sized mattress but was really two twins pushed together with king sized sheets and bedding. That was a bummer to discover. Although there were a few minor irritations this is a nice condo to rent.
