Arts and Crafts Cotswold stone house in the centre of Winchcombe
Built by Emma Dent in the 1800's, this Arts and Crafts stone house is snuggled in the valley of Winchcombe, the capital of Cotswolds walks. The property boasts a tranquil detachment from the modern world. With a Cotswold stone walled garden featuring outdoor seating and lighting, get lost in natural surroundings with views of the sheep-filled pastures and forested hills. A well stocked library and inviting dining room stand out with poise and polish uplifting any stay. Important to note: Parties/Gatherings: House parties of any sort (e.g. stag-dos, hen-dos) or gatherings with people not included in the reservation (e.g. pre or post wedding drinks, celebration meals, etc) are not permitted. Those would be a breach of the house insurance. If you’re planning to invite anyone over during your stay, please inform the hosts so they can include additional guests in your reservation (max 6 guests in total).
Pets: Dogs are allowed downstairs only
Carpets: Please remove shoes when going upstairs/carpeted areas The house is detached and set over three floors. The ground floor contains an entrance hall, a dinning room and kitchen. Through the hall to the rear of the property is a utility area, downstairs wet room and the gym. The garden is accessed through the utility room or the gym. The second floor contains the primary bathroom, the library and one of the guest bedrooms. The third floor contains the principal bedroom and second guest bedroom. PLEASE NOTE: The third floor guest room bed extends from single to double to allow for 6 guests rather than 5, limiting the space in that room.
