The cabins have private, direct access to the river, allowing you to enjoy the day without having to travel anywhere; they also feature a lookout point where you can take in the mountain views. In my opinion, the convenience of being right by the river is no small thing—it’s the difference between making the most of your day from the moment you wake up to a view of the river or having breakfast on the sand, versus having to wait and travel to a promenade. This is especially true during peak season, when the paths and promenades are overcrowded. When choosing a place to stay, this is something to keep in mind if you don’t want to waste time. We’re also just three blocks from the plaza, so you can leave your car and go shopping on foot—which is no small advantage given the high-season traffic. Personally, I like to have breakfast looking out at the river, eat with a view of the mountains, and then, when the sun goes down a bit, head out for a walk (with less traffic and without the blazing sun), keeping in mind that in summer it stays light until 9:00 p.m., so you can enjoy the whole day. Breakfast service is available from January through March, inclusive.
