New chalet 2 on the edge of the Wadden Sea and Amstelmeer with private terrace!

Your chalet is located on the edge of the Wadden Sea and the Amstelmeer. It’s a wonderful place to stay at our small campground, situated in the quiet village of Van Ewijcksluis. The campground is separated from the water and a bird sanctuary only by the dike. From the campground, major cities such as Den Helder, Hoorn, and Schagen—as well as the ferry to Texel—are easily accessible. You can take a dip in the water right at the campground, and just 3 kilometres away is the freshwater beach at Lutjestrand, where you and your children can enjoy swimming and grab a bite to eat or a drink. The large North Sea beach is just 15 minutes from the campground.
There are plenty of fun activities to do and discover in the area. These include Hoenderdaell Animal Park, mudflat walking on the Wadden Sea, surfing and foilboarding on the Amstelmeer, the Navy Museum, swimming pools, biking, canoe routes, birdwatching, fishing, and more.

Your chalet is completely energy-neutral and features a kitchen equipped with a hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, mini-oven, and toaster. You can use the air conditioning for heating and cooling.
Your chalet features a raised deck with a comfortable patio set and a parasol. Your terrace is fully enclosed by a fence, so your four-legged friend can roam freely around your chalet.

You can check in whenever you like. There is a key locker next to the entrance door; you’ll receive the code a few days before arrival, giving you flexibility regarding your arrival time. Further instructions are available inside the chalet.

We’re new to renting on VRBO, but we’ve been renting through various other platforms for several years, where you’ll find positive reviews from guests who’ve stayed here before you. In total, we have 3 of these chalets located next to each other at the campground, and we can accommodate groups of up to 12 people.
