The property is a wonderful oasis in the heart of Pompei. The overall grounds are lavish and the accommodation is elegant. Elvira and Giuseppe were perfect hosts who were exceedingly helpful. Elvira has limited English but she makes good use of Google Translate. Giuseppe's English is perfect. My only complaint, and it's a very tiny one, is that coffee facilities are limited - just one small personal size espresso maker. Even a French press would have helped. But this is Italy and there are cafes all over so you certainly won't want for excellent coffee. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Pompei if I were to return.
