COUNTRY HOUSE in EL BIERZO very close to Ponferrada and Las Medulas

A fully restored historic stone-and-wood house that has completely preserved its original architecture. Located in a stunning natural setting along the winter route of the Camino de Santiago, flanked by the Oza and Sil rivers and at the foot of the Aquilanos Mountains.
The town offers all necessary services, including a doctor’s office, a store, a restaurant, and public transport. It is absolutely peaceful and lies 5 km from the major city of Ponferrada—the cradle of the Knights Templar and a city of historical monuments—and very close to the Las Médulas archaeological site, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It’s exactly 2 hours from Santiago de Compostela itself or the beautiful beaches of Galicia, such as the famous As Catedráis on the coast of Lugo. A getaway that can easily be done as a day trip.
The house has 3 bathrooms and 1 half-bath. One of the bathrooms is attached to the master bedroom, another is shared, and a third, full bathroom serves the living area. The half-bath serves the attic bedroom.
The house has a garden that is shared only with the host’s home.
