Located in the coastal town of Brixham, this Grade II-listed fisherman’s cottage for four guests and two canine companions is perfect for a cosy South Devon getaway. Spend your evenings relaxing on the rooftop terrace or snuggling up in front of the wood burner in this characterful seaside property. Fill your holiday with meals out at the local seafood eateries, walking along scenic cliff-top trails and unwinding at the nearby beaches.

Step inside this three-storey property to find a warm and welcoming lounge/diner with neutral, grey and wooden decor throughout. Surrounding the inglenook fireplace with a wood burner are two armchairs and a comfortable sofa. Adjacent is a wooden dining table with four chairs. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden countertops and white cabinets to find plenty of space for cooking hearty meals for your loved ones. Climb the cottage-style stairs to reach two tastefully decorated, snug bedrooms – a twin and a super-king-size with sea glimpses. On the second floor, you can access the private balcony/roof terrace with furniture and sea views. Outside is a small courtyard which is shared with the neighbouring property. A parking permit is provided for one car at Marina Car Park 0.5 miles away.

During your stay in Brixham, you’ll find an array of harbourside restaurants, pubs and cafes on your doorstep (0.5 miles). Pack a picnic and wander to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1 mile) which is home to a historic lighthouse and is connected to the South West Coast Path. Hit the trail from Durl Head (1 mile) to St Mary’s Bay and Sharkham Point (1.5 miles). Further afield in the South Devon National Landscape is National Trust Little Dartmouth (7.5 miles) and the dramatic 15th-century Dartmouth Castle (8.5 miles).
