Wonderful stay

Chalford Manor provided a wonderful place for us to meet up with our extended family. There was plenty of space for our 10-person group to relax both together and separately. Astrid provided great communication before and during our stay and had a gorgeous welcome basket for us when we arrived. The house was also very accommodating for children, with a cot, high chairs, toys, and books. We stayed for a week and could easily have stayed longer!

Chalford Manor is a gem in the Oxfordshire countryside. Its secluded location is perfect to ensure a memorable and comfortable holiday and the grounds themselves are breathtaking. If the weather is on your side, the pool area is truly a jewel for relaxation, nestled in manicured gardens and bordered with wonderful trees and foliage. The manor itself is simply unforgettable. Luxurious and plentiful spaces, expansive enough to gather you and all of your guest together, or allow you to spread out and truly switch off. The characterful and sometimes askew dimensions of the manor only add to its historic charm. The amenities are fantastic. We wish we had booked for longer, and hope to stay again.

Memorable stay at an amazing Manor House

It was the perfect place to celebrate a 5th, and 45th birthdays and our 50th wedding anniversary. The house is huge in a stunning setting with a large garden overlooking fields. Astrid welcomed us on arrival and it was comforting to know she was close by if needed. The facilities were perfect with a lovely pool, tennis courts and trampoline. Turn left out of the gate for one mile and you come to the local pub in the quaint village of Sydenham. Turn right and you find a coffee shop/soft play area and padel courts. We booked the photographer listed on the website for family photos so looking forward to seeing those and having lasting memories of a fabulous five days at Chalford Manor.
