Lovely House

Very spacious house, well situated for Dumpton Gap beach (15 min walk), a further 15 mins to get to Broadstairs itself. Lovely big kitchen and a really nice garden, not sure why there are not any pictures of the garden available. Beds really comfy. The only thing it could do with are some fans, it was very hot the week we were there and they would have been appreciated. Keepers Cottages are an excellent company to book with, my second time of using them, you can actually get to speak to someone if need be, can’t fault them!!

Holiday in Broadstairs.

The house was spacious and comfortable as we were a group of seven including 2young children. Plenty of equipment for everyone. I would have appreciated the area of grass at the back of the house to have been mown before our arrival, it would have made playing on it more comfortable. The freezer of the large fridge in the kitchen was disgusting, fortunately we only used it for a few ice lollies, I don’t think it has ever been cleaned.

We arrived after a cold and wet journey to warm and welcoming house with a welcome pack full of goodies, which was very much appreciated! The house is very comfortable with lovely beds, comfortable lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is a couple of minutes drive from the lovely Dumpton Gap beach just right for walks with the dogs to Broadstairs for an ice cream at Morelli’s. What more could you ask for!!

spacious and clean

We stayed as family of 4 Adults 1 child of 6 and a baby of 5 months, house was lovely and clean and had plenty of room. For us the location was a little further away from the main beach in Broadstairs where we wanted to spend most of our time - the walk was a bit too far for the child and parking in Broadstairs is difficult. However that said we had a lovely stay and were able to enjoy time away and relax. We did know that Dumpton Gap is closer. We felt that whilst the house is able to accommodate children - with a young baby the fact there was no BATH TUB was a slight niggle - and even the 6 year old struggled with the slippiness of getting out of the shower in the main bedroom ensuite. Having a back garden which was beautiful was definitely a bonus as we were able to make use of it on a couple of evenings (we were hindered by rain on others :-(). Overall we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed this house.

Well equipped

Started off badly as given wrong alarm code so had to involve neighbours who kindly stepped in as this was often happening apparently. Beautiful house, well equipped but maintenance could be better. Unable to close curtains as hanging off rail which was unfortunate in heat and at night bad loss of privacy. Could not use freezer or air fryer as sorry to say too dirty. We found front door locks stiff and hard to use. On positive side the back garden was beautiful, everything needed was there, location was lovely and we enjoyed our holiday. It just needs a good clean as many cobwebs were found, and we had to wash all equipment before we could use it.
