Lovely clean well furnished house. Would have liked pet water bowls and map/walking routes from the door.

Hi Sue - many thanks for your feedback. Sorry you didn't find everything you needed during your stay. There were some dog bowls, but must have gone missing so I will ensure these are replaced. The cottage itself is lovely, really comfortable, cosy and fully stocked with everything you might need for your stay. Have given 4/5 stars because we arrived in a storm in the dark and unloading outside of the cottage in a very tight space was challenging & parking quite stressful (a 5-10 minute walk away at that time of day). Thoroughly advise arriving in daylight.

Thank you so much for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am so sorry that you found unloading and parking awkward on arrival. I can completely understand that arriving in a storm, after dark is not ideal. Arriving in daylight you can see the lane leading up to the house, and the garages very close by which is where I would recommend stopping and unloading; as it is then easy to turn round. There are parking options on the hill going out of Mousehole and in one of the 3 public car parks but I totally understand that when you arrive, unfamiliar with the area and in the dark its difficult to get your bearings. I do hope once you got into the cottage you found it warm and comfortable and could hopefully relax quickly!

Vielen Dank!!! Es ist eine wundervoll und liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, so dass wir kein Problem hatten den Osterbraten dort zuzubereiten. Die Betten sind bequem und der Ausblick aus den Schlafzimmern auf Meer ist überwältigend. Man wacht mit Meeresrauschen auf. Das Haus hat einen nostalgischen Charm, so dass man sich trotz der vorhandenen modernen Technik in das 19 Jahrhundert zurückversetzt vorkommt. Es war alles in allem wundervoll.

The area is beautiful - wild rugged cliffs, stunning beaches (which rival any you will find worldwide), tranquil estuaries, rolling agricultural land and windswept moorland - something for everyone. The villages and towns are packed with wonderful places to eat, drink, shop and simply wander. There is something to see and enjoy at all times of the year.

What makes this property unique

Morningtide is very special, tucked away in a very quiet part of Mousehole so you can fully escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, its only a short stroll to the centre of the village with its picturesque harbour, small sandy beach, delicious cafes and restaurants and windy streets to explore, Mousehole is perfectly located to explore the whole of west Cornwall where there is so much to see and do.
Inside the property is stylish yet relaxed, the ideal place to just kick back and relax!
