As you stroll through the village of Vitorchiano, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back in time to the Middle Ages. As you run your hands over the peperino stone walls, breathe in the scent of antiquity, and immerse yourself in a rarefied atmosphere, you’ll feel as though you’re living in a fairy tale. To unwind, to reconnect with peace, and to enjoy intimacy with your partner, a few days here is just what you need.
In addition to Vitorchiano, I’m just a short distance from all of Tuscia’s attractions. Ten minutes from the sacred grove of Bomarzo, as well as the public thermal baths and the Terme dei Papi. Just a few minutes from the historic centre of Viterbo. Ten minutes from Bagnaia, where you can visit the historic Villa Lante. Cycling and walking trails for your nature excursions. Less than thirty minutes from Lake Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio. Just an hour’s drive from city centre Rome. Well-connected by public transport as well. Orvieto and the other attractions of Umbria are about 45 minutes away.
