Overall very good an enjoyable experience would recommend

Overall a comfortable and successful trip. House has everything needed. Only downside…very noisy neighbours… shouting until the early hours so couldn’t have the windows open. Realise that is something out of one’s control. Also there is a spindle missing on the top stairs… dangerous for small children… should be mended!

Lovely house.

Beautiful house, great location, good sized rooms beautifully equiped(kitchen needs extractor remote batteries replaced ,maybe mended.sieve required in kitchen please.) I had requested that only asthma ,excema friendly cleaning and laundry products could be used long in advance. When we arrived the house wasclean aired with no perfumed products used.thank you so much its great to find a house we can stay in without health issues. The courtyard garden was lovely and freshly pruned allowing us to enjoy september sunshine over coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. Quality furniture inside and out. We all felt imediately at home and enjoyed our stay imensely. Ps we were unable to control/alter the heating on timed setting.it worked fine on manual we just had to remember to change it for overnight.maybe us or needs fixing!!!? Comunication with stays excellent.laundry and car space questions answers found out and relayed back to me by phone within hours.brilliant friendly personal service.thank you so much.

Beautiful Home

We loved being so close it was perfect location for us, comfortable beds, beautiful home, stunning features, will absolutely use stay york again. There is negatives though, chairs in living-room no longer comfortable cushions needing replaced and unfortunately the garden is so overgrown this photo of dining room doesn’t replicate real life it’s so dark and dreary we didn’t want to use it, and lighting didn’t brighten it at all. Also the weather was fantastic and we did want to use the garden more in evenings but hardly any space due to being so overgrown which was shame at such a beautiful house and location. Just a wee bit work needed.

Great House shame about the car parking

I can't complain about the house, which is why I choose StaysYork when I'm staying in York. The only point I would make is that the car parking was not outside the house, but it was where I felt secure, if a bit odd, as you are parking effectively on a pedestrian access route to a property. It was about a 5-7 min walk away, I guess.
