Ocean-View Studio at Royal Kahana 405, Lahaina | Peaceful Island Escape

Royal Kahana is a beachfront resort on the West side between the Ka'anapali and Kapalua! This studio unit has King bed and twin sleeper sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters tops and full-size appliances. Flat screen high-definition TV, free long distance to U.S. and Canada and free wireless internet. Enjoy some of the greatest sunsets & watch whales (seasonal) dolphins and turtles from the living room! Royal Kahana is centrally located to many restaurants and shops. Just a short walk to enjoy a variety of restaurant choices like Maui Brewing Company, China Boat, Dollies, miso phat and more! Kahana is just a short drive to dining and entertainment at Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali, and championship golf courses in Kapalua.

Approximately 431 sq. ft. Minimum 4-night stay. 17.962% State taxes added to all rates. There is a $185.00 cleaning fee. All reservations will be automatically charged a processing fee on total amount of rental. Daily maid service is an additional charge and is optional.

Royal Kahana charges a parking fee of eighteen dollars ($18.00 USD) per night plus applicable tax for the first one months' stay, followed by ten dollars ($10.00 USD) per night plus applicable tax, thereafter.

Guests are asked to check in at the front desk between the hours of 8:00 am until 8:00 pm to pay for parking and receive a parking permit. Guests arriving after 8:00 pm, will register their vehicle at the night-watch desk. Information collected on the vehicle registration form will include guests name, unit number, arrival date and time, and departure date. Guests will be directed to visit the front desk the following morning to pay for parking and receive a permit. Vehicles without a permit after 48 hours will be subject to being towed.

Quam Properties provides basic amenities like bath towels. We also provide a starter kit of laundry detergent, dryer sheet, dish pods, shampoo, conditioner, soap and more!

Cancellation Policy:
**For Short Stays (Less than 30 nights):
- Guests may cancel outside of 30 days of the arrival date and receive a full refund without any additional charges.
- Cancellations made 29-14 days before of the arrival date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 13 days of the arrival date.
**For Longer Stays (30+ nights):
- Guests may cancel outside of thirty (30) days of the arrival date and receive a full refund without any additional charges.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations within thirty (30) days of the arrival date.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Royal Kahana. They provided everything we needed for our stay. I would say that people might want to know the bathroom is a little tight. My husband is a little bit on the bigger side, and so navigating the space in there was a little bit of a challenge for 2 people, but other than that, the rest of the space of our VRBO was fine. It was really nice to have an in-unit washer and dryer.

Nice studio with ocean views

The property is as described. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The unit has all the needed amenities and was comfortable and clean. Convenient location in Kahana and walking distance to the beach and local shops. The only issue I had was the key did not work on my arrival, but the property manager got it sorted out quickly.

Kahana Vacation

Both my daughters stayed here while wife and I were just down the street. The beach and pool were awesome. There is also a small local beach within walking distance that my kids enjoyed. Condos and accommodations were perfect. Thank you for the 2 beach chairs. Very convenient!

Great view, location and value

We loved our stay. Having a kitchen was nice so we can cook some of our meals. Groceries nearby, Kaanapali beach not far away. It was nice to be able to sleep hearing the waves as background. Only thing is we cannot control the thermostat temp; but it is okay because we kept the door open to let the cool breeze in.

Great condo. The view was fantastic and the room had everything we needed. The pool is so kid friendly. We saw whales and rainbows everyday from the lanai. The pull out twin sized couch was great for my kiddo. We were so happy with this rental.

Perfect short break

I am a solo traveller from Australia. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything I needed for a short break. The welcome pack was a lovely inclusion. The bed was quite soft which I thought might cause my bad back some problems, but it didn't I slept very well. I would book this apartment again if I return to Maui.

It was cute… The parking lot is awful, the smallest spots ever and I genuinely don’t understand why it’s so expensive to park there every single day- Especially when you’re paying enough for the actual apartment itself! After driving by to see other places like this condo area, knowing that they don’t charge for parking at all was just very annoying… Also, The staff at Royal Kahana, especially the Front Desk ladies, are not nice at all- they clearly know these are rentals so they don’t care to be nice!The apartment itself was cute… Definitely very hot and humid, there is absolutely no closet space as they use it for storage so ladies FYI, there is absolutely nowhere to hang your clothes! I was there for work so a closet with hangers would have been much appreciated… The washer dryer is cool that it’s there, but it’s super old and The dryer is a disaster… It ruined all of my clothes and when I moved in, it was so dirty and full of sand! The bathroom is small and uncomfortable, but the rest is the home was OK… It was good for what I needed at the time :)Overall I wouldn’t stay here again but I would rec thank you so much oh my gosh thank you I love you thank you mama. Thank you so much. You are my baby. You are my baby bear. London’s Hubert. Oh my.

Great Location

The lovation is great! You can see whales jumping off the balcony. An earlier reviewer stated they had AC trouble which I would honestly have to agree with. Even when set to 70 I neber saw it get below 73.5. I will say though that using the fan made the room quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels and beach chairs were super-convenient. The owners were responsive after hours when we had trouble getting in on the first day. The security on the bottom floor was super-helpful when we needed new room cards because ours expired mid-trip. All in all this is a great property at a great price, and we would definitely visit again if heading back to Maui!

Great Condo, excellent views!

My daughter and I stayed here for the first part of our trip and loved it. It was a clean unit and was centrally located along the West part of the island. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The views posted in the listing are much closer in person and we loved it. Even though we were at the tail end of the whale season, we could see them every morning and throughout the day which was amazing. We thought it was a quiet unit and didn’t have any issues while we were there. The only thing I could recommend is maybe having a bit more kitchen supplies, but if you’re not cooking/eating a whole lot in the unit, it’s fine. Beach towels are provided, but there aren’t chairs or a cooler, so if you need those for beach days, maybe look into renting some out. Overall, we loved this unit and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
1. To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
2. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.
3. For a cancellation notice received more than 14 days before the check-in date, a refund will not be issued, other than the departure cleaning fee.
4. This loss can be avoided if Travel Protection Insurance was purchased, and the reason for cancellation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
5. Owner/Agent Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that the Property becomes unavailable for any part of the tenancy, Owner/Agent reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Such reasons may include, but will not be limited to, unforeseen repairs, service, maintenance, or any other reason the Owner/Agent deems necessary. Owner and/or Agent may cancel this Agreement and refund in full to the Guest all payments made. The agent will assist in procuring similar alternative accommodation should this situation arise. Guest agrees that any claims against Owner/Agent arising out of performance or non-performance under this agreement shall be limited to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest.
