We had a lovely stay at Jacob's barn, which is spacious and comfortable, ideal for our large family of 8. It was quiet and peaceful (even though we had 3 children under 7) with good outdoor space too.We cooked every meal in the well appointed kitchen, eating inside and out in the garden. We had great days out visiting Dunster, Tropaquaria, Brean Beach, Berrow Beach, Watchet Harbour, Taunton and Nether Stowey Castle. Evening walks were lovely as the weather was so nice.Would recommend.

Overall great place. Nice yard, comfortable couches, plenty of space. Upstairs rooms get hot during the hottest part of the summer. Back doors don't open. But overall our family loved staying there.

Fantastic stay over new years. The property is perfect for 2 families with a wonderfully spaced kitchen. The log fire was a great way to congregate everyone in the lounge for games and festivities. Rosie and Sue were fabulous hosts and always available or to answer questions or help with any issues we had. We also managed to get to the Quantocks for a sunset view and visited Kilve Besch for fossil hunting. Both no more than 15 mins drive away. Nether Stowey is a lovely village to wander round with 2 pubs to enjoy a few drinks. Only 15 mins walk away but beware the hill back is long and steep. Will definitely be back!
