About this property
Apartment with rustic charm and amazing views of the Sibillini Mountains
Apartment Priora is a one-bedroomed ground floor apartment providing a holiday home for up to two people. The apartment faces south-west with wonderful views of the Sibillini Mountains. It has its own entrance and outdoor space. The private loggia outside the apartment provides the ideal dining venue for those warm summer evenings or an excellent shaded lounging area during the day. Beyond the loggia is a large garden on two tiers mostly set to grass, with some bushes, flower beds and trees.
The apartment was mainly built in sandstone, some of which has remained exposed in the rooms. The ceilings are constructed in the traditional manner using cotto tiles and chestnut beams. Apartment Priora consists of one bedroom, a living room and bathroom and is about 50sq. m.
The living area contains a modern fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and filter coffee machine. There is a table and chairs for dining indoors should the weather be cool. After dinner you can relax on a comfortable sofa and watch TV, a DVD or listen to music. We have a small library of DVDs and books for guests. The apartment also has a wireless internet connection.
A large French window in the living room allows you to enjoy the fantastic view from indoors and ensures plenty of light comes into the room. A ceiling fan has been installed for hot weather but should the weather be inclement a wood burning stove will lend the apartment a feeling of cosiness. For very cold days there is the additional convenience of a full central heating system.
The bedroom contains a double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, wardrobe and mirror in the Arte Povere style. The floor is of oak planking while the ceiling is constructed in the traditional manner using chestnut beams and cotto tiles. A large French window looks out onto the mountains and lets lots of light into the room. It is fitted with a fly screen.
The bathroom comprises a toilet, bidet, shower
