The house was fabulous, there were 17 adults for my husband 50th birthday. We all had very comfortable beds, gardens were beautiful, dining room seated all of us, everything was perfect. No complaints.

Fabulous house grounds and facilities. Just spent my 50th birthday here had a private chef on the Saturday night which was perfect in the lovely dining space. Definitely recommend it.

The house gets a mixed review. Beautifully decorated, very clean, very comfortable beds. But it’s missing some basics. A lot of these have been written in previous reviews and are easy to fix. No mugs so take your own. Only tiny teacups. Not enough outside seating so take camping chairs especially if you are a large party. No mirrors in some of the bathrooms. Only one fridge so tricky to keep the Prosecco cold. Lovely big dining room but no lounge where we could all hangout. Cinema room is fun but we would rather have had sofas instead of the tiny hot tub in the games room. So great house if you go prepared. We were a group of 12 and it worked for us.

We hosted our wedding reception here and stayed for a few days with friends and family, it was really spacious, the facilities all functioned perfectly, and the addition of a cinema and pool room really helped make the party memorable. The kitchens were fully equipped and the dining room made for a great evening! The area was clean and quiet, the manor itself felt quite secluded while not being far from a main road which makes for a nice atmosphere without being inconveniently situated. The hosts were reachable on the day, and made special arrangements for our wedding cake to be delivered which was really considerate. The support staff were easily reachable and explained the checkin process clearly. The Garden is really beautiful as well, didn't get to spend too much time out there this time, but in good weather it would be an idyllic place to host a BBQ. Would definitely recommend!

The house is spectacular no doubt. However that’s where the good ended. You have a basic sized fridge freezer for 21 people. This wasn’t fit for purpose and lead to having to go out twice to get groceries as we had nowhere to put them. There was also only seating for 5 outside. So we had to send emergency messages for people to bring chairs!!! When we were settled it became evident that there was no cutlery, we had to go and buy disposable from Morrisons. All of my showers on Saturday night were cold and one you couldn’t tilt so the water just shoots straight out, rendering it pretty much useless. We had 2 toilets that barely flushed, and there are no wine glasses in sight. I emailed about this after our stay to afford an opportunity to correct this but to no avail!!!I absolutely would not stay here again with a large group. Overall a great house in a brilliant spot, but the finer details were a real disappointment.

For clarity, the property does have a dedicated cabinet containing the cutlery, although we appreciate that this may not have been immediately obvious and we’ll look at how this can be made clearer for future guests.
